AMA NPS962 - Petrol Snowplough - Loncin LC180FDS

The AMA NPS962 snow blower is a machine suitable for work even in extreme conditions on medium/large areas thanks to the 302 cc and 9 Hp Loncin Snow LC180FDS engine.

Ideal for quickly and optimally clearing from snow the area around the house; practical to use, with extremely user-friendly and intuitive controls. Thanks to the headlights, it is also possible to operate at night and in low light conditions.

Engine designed specifically for snow thrower applications, for demanding work in extreme weather conditions (e.g. very low temperatures). Equipped with electric start, the engine can be started by connecting it directly to the home mains. The machine is not equipped with a battery as low temperatures would ruin it in a very short time. The batteries do not tolerate sudden temperature changes.

Equipped with a 62 cm wide and 53 cm high milling cutter, it allows collecting a large amount of snow.

OHV (over-head valve) engine

During starting, it may be necessary to use the primer (the red pump), which must be pressed max. 2 times before starting.

Air adjustment, which is necessary during starting, is possible by means the specific lever.

This truly exceptional system eliminates the need to use batteries, which are bound to run down all the time due to cold weather, especially in case of less frequent use. Winterised engines such as this one are not provided with air filter because working at low temperatures and with snow could create moisture that would then freeze, ruining the filter and creating problems for the operation of the machine.

The auger compartment is 62 cm wide and 53 cm high.

The heavy-duty auger is equipped with a steel spiral with optimised profile and serrated edge. This special design makes it suitable for crushing even the hardest snow.

The safety bolts protect the gearbox.

They are specially designed to fail as soon as the blade runs into some obstacle.

The 2-stage snow discharge system was carefully designed.

The snow is efficiently conveyed into the machine by means the auger, and then thrown away through the discharging chute by means an inner high-speed centrifugal fan.

The snow discharge chute can be adjusted by means of a spiral connected to a lever near the main controls; simply turn the lever to rotate the chute to the desired position.

The chute is also equipped with an safety grid for preventing debris to enter into it.

The dashboard is easy, user-friendly and intuitive. It includes all the main controls of the machine.

Gear right lever:
6 forward gears 2 reverse gears.

Gear left lever:
it adjusts the discharge chute opening

Lever on top of the right handle: engages and disengages the forward and reverse gears (whatever speed is selected on the gearbox, both forwards and backwards). Releasing this lever stops the machine instantly, for safety reasons.

Lever on top of the left handle: engages and disengages both the auger and the high-speed fan (engages and disengages both stages simultaneously).
