Flow rate: a figure that is often overlooked, but which, on the contrary, should be taken into account more than the pressure itself, because it is the figure that expresses most the real cleaning capacity of the pressure washer; machines with a high flow rate have a much larger water jet and wash much more than those with a limited flow rate; it is measured in litres of water per minute, this is our ranking:
- up to 6,9 L/min.: limited flow rate
- 7 to 7.9 L/min.: very low flow rate
- 8 to 8.9 L/min.: low flow rate
- 9 to 9.9 L/min.: medium-low flow rate
- 10 to 10.9 L/min.: medium flow rate
- 11 to 12.9 L/min.: medium-high flow rate
- 13 to 14.9 L/min.: high flow rate
- over 15 L/min.: very high flow rate
Pressure

Pressure: is the most immediate expression of the power and cleaning capacity of the pressure washer;
- up to 119 bar: limited pressure
- 120 to 129 bar: very low pressure
- 130 to 139 bar: low pressure
- 140 to 149 bar: medium-low pressure
- 150 to 159 bar: medium pressure
- 160 to 169 bar: medium-high pressure
- 170 to 199 bar: high pressure
- over 200 bar: very high pressure

Motor power
i
Engine power: expressed in Kw, it brings together the various high-pressure washers by current absorption. All models with over 3 Kw of power (i.e. the normal domestic use) are three-phase machines intended for professionals;
Cubic capacity

Indicates the total volume of the engine cylinder.
It is generally proportional to the engine output, but even with the same cubic capacity, outputs may vary depending on the structure of the engine.

Nominal power

The nominal power is purely indicative and refers to the "Commercial power", that is the standard definition used until a few years ago by all well-known engine manufacturers. Quite different is the rated power, less than the nominal power, which refers to the real power of the engine: the rated power is listed in the product description.
