The Blackstone BHD500 post hole borer for tractor is intended for a large variety of works, in both the construction and the agricultural field. Earth augers are used to create holes in the ground, more or less deep, depending on the operator’s needs, for planting fruit trees, stacking concrete poles or for making fence basis.
Using these tools minimises any kind of effort, as all the work is done by the post hole borer and the tractor.
The maximum drill depth that can be reached is 110 cm, with a variable diameter from 15 cm to 45 cm.
Post hole borers for tractors belong to a higher range than petrol earth augers, the main difference between the two machines being the capability of drilling larger holes in the ground.
Compared to petrol drills that have a maximum hole diameter of 25 cm, earth augers for tractor can reach a significantly larger diameter, up to 45 cm.
IMPORTANT!
Before using the earth auger, perform lubrication checks, control the gearbox oil level and grease the universal joints of the PTO shaft and drive shaft.
Every 30/50 cm of depth, raise the drill to remove the soil from the auger and then continue drilling.
Do not extract the auger completely during drill lifting, because it may tilt and, as a result, it would be difficult to reinsert it into the hole.
During drilling phases, it may be necessary to move the tractor forward or backward to keep the auger vertical.
WARNING!
AUGER BITS NOT INCLUDED, TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY IN THE ACCESSORIES SECTION!
