Tractor-mounted side flail mower with arm

The BlackStone BVB 180 M side flail mower with arm is a tool intended for green maintenance, ditches and hedges.

It features excellent quality/price ratio and it is suitable for all users who require a high flexibility of use and possibility to adjust the machine operating mode according to their needs.

This model ensures the highest flexibility of use among side flail mowers; indeed, the hydraulic shift is both horizontal and vertical. Its structure is medium and elastic and it is used for shredding light prunings, grass and small shrubs.

Hydraulic side and vertical shift

Vertical and side hydraulic shift is operated by 2 pistons. Equipped with 4 hoses connected to the hydraulic connections on the tractor.

A very sturdy shift system. It consists of articulated arms.

The flail mower can work up to 90° vertically upwards and - 40° downwards.

Set of counter-knives

This flail mower ensures excellent cutting and shredding performance of grass and branches.

The shredding unit features a series of counter-knives which guarantee an optimal crushing of scrubs. The counter-knives are comb-shaped to ensure excellent and effective shredding performance, while the rotor is equipped with supports for the shredding hammers.

The counter-knives are placed under the housing and operate together with the hammers, acting as a counter-blade for better shredding results.

It finely shreds grass and cuttings, while simultaneously rolling the turf.

Thanks to the high rotor speed and the large number of hammers (toothed hammers), this flail mower reduces the wave effect on the turf performing an excellent shredding.

The flail mower is connected to the 3-point hitch on the rear part of the tractor.

The rotor with hammers features a 108 mm diameter.
