BlackStone DSP 70 J - Petrol shredder - 212cc Loncin petrol engine

The Blackstone DSP 70 J petrol-driven shredder reduces brushwood and twigs into smaller fragments, facilitating handling and composting. Shredding accelerates the decomposition process, improving the management of plant residues.

The chipper's cutting diameter is 55 mm, allowing it to work even with medium-thick branches without the need for pre-treatment.

The 212 cc (7 HP) Loncin engine guarantees good performance. This internal combustion engine is designed to ensure a long service life, standing out for its reliability and durability, which are superior to other, lower-end engines.

The machine is equipped with a steel hopper with an excellent capacity, capable of accommodating bulky branches and foliage without preliminary cutting operations.

Its design allows a large amount of material to be placed in one solution, improving operational efficiency. Integrated wheels and handles facilitate movement, reducing the effort required to transport and position the shredder.

This petrol-powered shredder is designed according to the construction principles of large professional models, optimising cutting capacity, operating speed and reliability.

Warning: Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suitable for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc.… (it is designed to shred branches, but it can also grind the leaves, needles and other vegetation that may be attached to them).

Garden shredders intended use:
- The wood chipper must grind only green branches, recently cut from the tree and not dried ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to quick deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The declared cutting diameter is the maximum, so in use, it is the exception and not the rule. In this case it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the consistency of the wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hard woods and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood shredder);

The large-sized steel hopper can process very bulky branches and leaves, without having to pre-shred them. Thus, it also features a higher capacity that allows entering a large amount of material at a time.

In the event of a blockage of the rotor caused, for example, by too large a piece of wood, stones, etc., there is no risk of breaking the drive shaft and thus throwing out the motor, but there will be a slippage or at most a breakage of the intermediate belt.
