The snow blower is equipped with a 306 cc 4-stroke air-cooled Briggs&Stratton 1450 SNOW SERIES engine, with over head valves and aluminium cylinder.
The engine is winterized, that is equipped with a special covering to protect the parts most sensitive to cold and to insulate it from sudden drops in temperature. This way, the engine works at its best using the snow blower at low temperatures.

The engine of this snow blower is also equipped with electric starting. This machine is equipped with battery. In fact, it allows you to start the snow blower directly from the available electrical socket. This solution was devised as batteries, subjected to sudden changes in temperature, tend not to hold the charge.
Winterized engines like this one aren't provided with air filter as, working in environments with low temperatures and snow, this last can create humidity that could freeze damaging the air filter and causing problems to the machine.
