Blue Bird R3S 40V Battery-powered Edge Strimmer

The Blue Bird R3 40 V electric edge strimmer is a useful tool for finishing touches to paths and lawn edges. The R3 40V ensures maximum ease of use: No power cable, 35 minutes autonomy, extendable shaft, cover for protecting flowers and light weight.

The package includes a 40 V 2.5 Ah lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The battery can be quickly recharged thanks to the practical battery charger (just 180 minutes).

The Blue Bird Lithium-ion battery-powered products - blowers, edge strimmers, lawn mowers, hedge trimmers - share the same battery for a greater ease of use.

Electric motor and battery

The motor of the edge strimmer is able to develop a power of 450W, reaching 6000 rpm. The 40 V lithium-ion battery can be recharged at any time (just like the batteries of mobile phones, no memory effect) so it is always ready to use.

It lasts approx. 3 times longer than a standard battery. The battery is equipped with a convenient charging indicator and an activation button to prevent unwanted turning on of the machine.

Line head

The head of this strimmer is equipped with an automatic line head fitted with stone guard and line adjustment device. Furthermore, the the head of the strimmer is adjustable by means the side button in three positions:

Second
Third

This tool is provided with the handy Tap’n go device. In fact, when the line gets too short, this device allows it coming out automatically by simply tapping the head on the ground while moving.

The line head supplied capacity is no less than 6 m and the diameter of the wire (nylon) is Ø 2 mm. The maximum working width is 30 cm.

Telescopic pole and handle
