Gearbox by Blue Bird Industries

The auger drive uses the strongest gearbox on the market, made of cast iron and with internal gears made of high-strength hardened steel in a grease bath.

This essential aspect must be taken into account when purchasing a motorised auger because the transmission is a component that is continually subjected to great stress and from whose correct functioning derives the durability and reliability of the entire machine.

The gearbox reduces the engine rpm to a 1:40 ratio by running the auger tip up to 180 rpm
