Bomet Carina S-TINES vibro cultivator

The Bomet Carina S-TINES vibro cultivator with 18 tines is designed for loosening the soil, partially breaking up clumps, uprooting weeds and crabgrass and mixing mineral fertilisers into the soil. Cultivators are also recommended for use on stubble to stop water evaporation from the soil.

The machine is provided with light vibrating spring tines for preparing the soil for seeding. Thanks to the vibrations in all directions, the soil is perfectly tilled with a constant working depth. The reversible tips of the tines are 4.5 cm width.

Unlike subsoilers or spring loaded tillers, the vibro cultivator features a smaller working depth and less distance between the tines. The vibrating spring system also allows preparing the soil for seeding or removing overgrown weeds.

The frame features 4 rows and the distance between the tines is 10 cm. The tines end with an easily replaceable coulter.

It is also equipped with 2 supporting wheels that determine the working depth.

Preparing the soil for seeding

This cultivator features a great weight distribution, precision depth control and the ability to follow the ground contours of the machine so as to create the perfect seedbed on any type of soil.

The machine is provided with light spring tines with a replaceable coulter. The tines are mounted on 4 rows on the cultivator frame. The distance between the tines is 100 mm. The machine is equipped with 2 supporting wheels that adjust the cultivator working width.

This vibrating tine cultivator reaches a 12 cm working depth and it is attached to the tractor three-point hitch.

The tillage from the bottom up creates a certain amount of macro-porosity and crumbling in the soil, thus causing little or no change in the profile of the layers. In not very compact soils, the operation is in any case effective in breaking up clamps and improving water drainage.

Main features

The tines feature a leaf spring reinforcement, which gives them a vibrating effect, and the spring reinforcement helps avoiding the recoil effect of the tine in case it gets stuck in the ground.

The vibro cultivator comes with the following items included on standard equipment:
