Nowadays, however, 99% of olive harvesters on the market still mount the engine on the head, next to the rakes, the easiest and cheapest solution (because mechanically it is simpler), but that makes the harvester extremely unbalanced in weight and very tiring to use

It is important to remember that in most cases the harvester is gripped at the bottom of a pole, and if the weight is concentrated above all, it becomes really heavy to handle and certainly impossible to use a whole day.

That is why when choosing a harvester one should not only consider the total weight, as this alone is not an indication of comfort of use, especially for those harvesters that mount the engine on the head, where 80% of their weight concentrates. The comfort of use arises not from the total weight but from the weight balance And then from mounting the engine at the end of the pole.

The rakes are made of extra-flexible thermoplastic resin and have a characteristic and exclusive DOUBLE MOVEMENT.

While rakes swing from right to left, at the same time, the single prongs move in the opposite direction, creating an 8X7 cm ellipse that allows a larger collecting radius. This special swinging and rotating motion also minimises vibrations transmitted to the entire implement and, consequently, to the operator.

The Campagnola Alice is the battery-powered olive harvester with the highest hourly collection capacity. Unlike all harvesters on the market, there is no specific technique of use for the Alice. It can be used like a comb on well pruned and thin plants.

On the other hand, it can be inserted and extracted repeatedly from the foliage in unpruned and very dense plants (which do not allow the machines to comb through).

The harvesting is carried out with very long prongs alternating with shorter ones.

The advantage is that the machine can easily penetrate between the branches, thanks to the more sparse front, but can also go deep thanks to the exceptional length of the prongs, which, compared to other olive harvesters with rakes on the market, are longer.

The most important features to consider when choosing a carbon pole instead of an aluminium one are:

• Higher sturdiness;
• More rigidity, thus higher control;
• It weighs 300 grams less than its aluminium counterpart;

The length of this pole is the ideal configuration of this olive harvester, because the motor is mounted at the end of the pole.

It is great with shorter olive trees, we advise to grip the pole from the middle to maintain a weight balance of 50%-50% (just like shown in the upper diagram) making it even more handy to use.

The rotating pole for electrical equipment is 100% made of Carbon, thus resulting robust and extremely light.
