As for the hobby models, electric motors release a power that hardly exceeds 1500 watts; this figure indicates the maximum suction power of the motor, a power that is more than adequate to clean domestic surfaces.
The collection capacity of the drum varies according to requirements and the category of use. For hobbyist carpet cleaners, drums can range from a capacity of 15 litres up to even 60 litres.
