The Castellari Vertigo V2 180/240 is the olive harvester designed for all types of crops and breeding, with no difference between olive trees prepared for mechanisation, hence well pruned, or thick foliage trees, in hillside or lowland cultivations.

Designed to fit every working requirement, the Fenix V2 ensures the best results in absolute respect of the integrity of the plant and the fruit.

This version feels very lightweight thanks to the pole made entirely of carbon with a weight of only 2.4 Kg.

The harvesting head and its rotary motion

This is undoubtedly one of the most advanced and sophisticated systems in the field of olive harvesting equipment.

The rake made of carbon performs 1150 elliptical rotations per minute.

The elliptical motion and the prongs setup, mounted on two rows, makes this tool perfect for all types of crops, both well tended and pruned plants and olive trees with thick foliage.

The prongs flexibility, built in protruded carbon with a length of 27 cm, minimises stress on the olives and on the tree branch.

In addition, the particular shape of the harvesting head and the length of the prongs allow to reach deep inside the plant and harvest all olives.

Motor placed at the end of the pole

The electric motor gives this olive harvester exceptional balancing, which translates into less fatigue during use.

On the other hand, 99% of the harvesters on the market today still mount the motor in the head, next to the rakes, which is a simpler and more cost-effective solution (as it is more mechanically feasible), but that makes the tool extremely unbalanced, heavier and very tiring to use.

It is important to remember that in most cases the harvester is operated at the bottom of a pole, and if the weight is all concentrated at the top, it becomes really heavy to handle and certainly impossible to use for a whole day.

The comfort of use stems not from the total weight but from balancing weights, achieved by mounting the motor at the bottom of the pole.

SUPER POWERFUL motor: one of the most powerful among electric ones. It can operate the rake, which fits prongs up to 27 cm long and make them perform a oscillatory movement with 1150 beats per minute.

Pole adjustment is carried out easily: simply unscrew the locking cam lever and extend the pole.

ATTENTION: the configuration with such a long pole is always the ideal one for tools such as the harvester because it mounts the motor at the bottom and proves much more practical in use. Perfect for use with shorter olive trees, we recommend to grip the pole from the middle to maintain a weight balance of 50%-50% (see diagram above) making its operation even more comfortable.
