The Castellari Ryno 40 cordless pruning shear is the perfect product for vineyard and orchard maintenance work, capable of making fast and less intensive cuts, even for prolonged periods of time, thanks to the two standard-supplied 14.4 V, 2.5Ah batteries.
The shear weighs only 0.9 kg with battery attached, making it one of the lightest on the market. This allows the user to carry out work even over long periods of time without requiring excessive effort for the arm. The rubber-coated handle then improves the safety of the shear grip.
The greatest advantage of not having cables connected to the shear is that it comes with interchangeable lithium batteries that fit into the base of the scissor, which allows you to work more comfortably without being cluttered with cables and backpacks.

Among the functions of the shear we find the possibility to change the maximum cutting opening of the blades according to one's needs. Indeed, by holding the trigger down for about 3 seconds (until the sound is heard) it will be possible to change the type of cut.
There are two types, one with a maximum opening of 100% indicated to fully exploit the power of the shears, the second with an opening of 70% indicated instead for smaller and faster cuts.
Finally, the shears are equipped with a progressive cut and a stand-by mode that can be activated by holding down the trigger for 5-6 seconds. This function is useful for temporarily storing the shears without necessarily switching them off. Simply pulling the trigger once is enough to fully reactivate the shears.
