Ceccato Olindo Bull SPLT25 - Tractor-mounted Log Splitter - Vertical

The Ceccato Olindo Bull SPLT25 log splitter is a tractor-mounted vertical log splitter intended for professional and intensive uses. It comes with a large-sized wedge, sliding on a thick steel guide which prevents the piston and frame from wear even in case of intensive use.

The Bull SPLT25 log splitter is provided with a sturdy frame designed for withstanding powerful splitting operations. The machine is driven by means cardan shaft and connected via the power take-off to the tractor, which also provides great sturdiness to the whole machine.

The 25 tons splitting force allows splitting knotty logs of different sizes up to 110 cm height by means of the additional controls on the upper part of the machine in order to split large-sized logs.

Furthermore, it is equipped with a large capacity pump, group 3, featuring 42 L/m flow rate, which guarantees a great splitting force and a high working speed.

It is provided with a safety arch and adjustable piston limit switch control system.

This SPLT25 heavy-duty log splitter is user-friendly and safe: it can operate very quickly and it is equipped with special safety devices to protect the Operator while working.

WEDGE: cutting wedge with 3° tilt towards the frame.

PISTON STROKE: the cutting wedge at the end of the stroke features a residual distance of 100 mm from the cutting plate.

UPPER CONTROL LEVERS: the levers have been shortened as to comply with the Directive allowing to split even large-sized logs.

LOWER CONTROL ARM LEVERS: shortened levers on the log supporting arms. Thus, their positioning in compliance with the height measures stated in the Directive. The indicative shape has been specifically selected to prevent the possible fall of the log towards the Operator.

HYDRAULIC HOSES: we have increased the hose diameter for ensuring a lower oil temperature. Cable protection and shielding with Ceccato Olindo screen-printed canvas sheathing with steel studs. In case of damage or burst of the hose, this holds the oil and vaporises it without any risk of injury.

Each machine model is provided with all the safety labels and maintenance and instructions manuals in compliance with the Directive.

This log splitter is tractor-mounted and can be connected to the tractor via a cardan universal joint.

The log splitter operates by using the high-performance double hydraulic pump operation, which achieves 230 bar working pressure and can pump 49 L/min, supplying oil, drawn from the tank, to the hydraulic cylinder which acts as a pusher.

The dual speed distributor has been designed and built specifically for this model of log splitter for ensuring the Operator the total control of the machine controls, even in case of intensive use and to ensure the proper speed to the pump.

The frame of the machine structure itself acts as the hydraulic oil tank.

The log splitter can be connected to the tractor by means the three-point linkage on the sturdy machine frame.

The multiplier gearbox transfers torque from the tractor to the hydraulic pump by means of the cardan universal joint.

This is possible thanks to the very sturdy and large piston, which features a 125 mm outer diameter and a 70 mm internal diameter.

The 1100 mm piston slides on a steel guide in order to preserve the cylinder even under extra load. Moreover, it comes with a high-density brass piston side guides with replaceable sliding plate. Thanks to the thickness of the brass sliding plate, the guides preserve the main cutting plate on the log splitter main frame part.

Adjustable piston stroke: when splitting short logs, you can speed the operations as the piston stroke can be adjusted by means of a tightening screw.

You can disassemble and close the piston to limit the log splitter size for easy storage.

The log splitter is equipped with a speed cylinder drive circuit and double powering controls.

The control levers for operating the machine must necessarily be operated by the Operator using both hands, for avoiding any kind of injury.

When light pressure is applied, the log splitter makes the pushing cylinder move quickly until it comes into contact with the log.

By applying more pressure on the control handles, the piston considerably slows down its speed and increases the wedge splitting force of up to 25 tons.

Single or double speed can be selected by simply pressing down on the control handles with more or less pressure. Once the wedge will contact the log, the Operator will automatically know how much pressure to apply on the handles so that the wedge concentrates all the power of the log splitter for splitting the log.

This log splitter is made with thick enamelled steel sections that compose the highly sturdy boxed frame.

This Ceccato log splitter features a boxed frame reinforced with the front flat plate where the wedge slides. This plate is made of high-strength tempered steel, which is harder than the steel used for the frame.

This log splitter is equipped with a cartridge filter with filter holder and tap that allows the cartridge to be easily replaced for maintenance operations.

This means that the frame and the support platform are very sturdy and strong.
