Ceccato Triton Mega Monster P.T.O. - Tractor-mounted garden shredder - Hydraulic transmission

The Ceccato Tritone Mega Monster P.T.O. is a heavy-duty tractor-mounted garden shredder, specifically intended for shredding large quantities of vegetable waste. This wood chipper is a top-of-the-range model and it is equipped with self-feeding roller, operated by an hydraulic pump, for dragging the branches and vegetable waste into the large hopper that guarantees a high ease of use.

The machine can shred branches of up 150 mm diameter.

The hopper can rotate 180° and it is 2 m high, that allows the machine to discharge wood chips directly into boxes or trailers.

The cutting rotor is 30 mm large.

It is provided with 2 large blades, 2 large counter-blades and 24 reversible shredding hammers inside the cutting unit.

The wood chipper is equipped with a 3-belt drive and a starting pulley with clutch is fitted as standard.

The drive between the gear multiplier and the cutting unit is operated by a pulley with clutch to facilitate starting, performed by means of 3 belts. Furthermore, it is equipped with 2 counter-blades for high shredding performance. The machine is fitted with a round-shaped sieve that sieves the wood chips and 2 large pneumatic wheels for easy transport.

The foldable handle facilitates the storage of the machine.

The large rotor is highly thick compared to the Super Monster series.

Tritone Mega Monster PTO is compliant with all the CE safety standards.

Warning: Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suited for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is intended to shred branches, but it can also grind leaves, needles and others)

Garden shredders intended use:
- The wood chipper must grind only green branches and not dried ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to quick deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The branch cutting diameter indicated is the maximum, so it is advised not to shred larger branches. In this case it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the amounts of wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hardwood and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood chipper);

The Tritone Mega Monster is a heavy-duty garden shredder provided with self-feeding roller, operated by a hydraulic pump, for automatically dragging branches and vegetable waste into the hopper.

Self-feeding rollers speed adjustment: simply adjust the rotation speed by turning the knob on the engine hydraulic variator to adjust the operating speed according to the thickness of the branches and vegetable waste to be shredded.

Wood anti-clogging system: in case the rotor gets over-stressed or stops while processing the wood, the Operator has to move the lever on the hopper (red round lever). Indeed, this lever acts on the motor hydraulic valves and reverses the rotor rotation direction unlocking it.

Hopper lever operating positions: the red round lever around the hopper operates like a 3-position switch. Pushing it down operates the self-feeding roller in its standard forward rotary motion, allowing branches to be dragged into the hopper. Pulling it back reverses the direction of rotation allowing you to operate the anti-clogging system. The rotor in central position doesn’t rotate as this is its rest position.

Electronic NO-STRESS system: the NO-STRESS control unit controls the machine self-feeding rollers both for starting the unit and in case of emergency. It will be possible to start the multiplier only after having pressed the START button.

The machine is equipped with a large steel hopper; able to process even very bulky branches and leaves, without having to pre-shred them. Thus, it also features a higher capacity that allows entering large volumes of material at a time.

The hopper can be folded for transport or storage so as to take up little space.

Brand-new E-STOP system. In an emergency, press the 2 red alarm buttons above the hopper; this will immediately stop the rotor and the self-feeding rollers, regardless the position of the control bar.

The rotor is composed of highly-thick 2 steel flywheels firmly assembled together.

These then represent a sturdy cutting unit (the main component of the garden shredder) of truly superior size, strength and performance, with 600 mm diameter.

This rotor is therefore one of the sturdiest and largest rotors on the market.

Equipped with 2 large shredding blades. They pre-shred the wood into the hopper reducing it in coarse wood chips.

The large door of the rotor unit is equipped with 2 sturdy interchangeable counter-blades. These act as counter-blades to the 2 main blades and perform a scissor effect at the first cut of the branch entered into the hopper, thus ensuring high cutting performance.

Equipped with 24 hardened steel shredding hammers (or blades) rotating at high speed. Thanks to their centrifugal motion they reduce the material in small wood chips.

The cutting unit is 30 mm thick.

The outer shredding chamber (the largest and sturdiest in its category) is proportionate to the rotor it includes. It is wide and features a round-shape, ensuring excellent productivity, as well as the durability of the system.

The machine structure is 100% made of steel. No plastic has been used.

The high steel thickness of the shredding chamber proves the high quality and sturdiness of the machine.

Provided with 180° rotating discharge chute.

Simply rotate the lever and then the chute by means the 2 handles placed in the lower part of the chute.

As the discharge chute is 2 m high, this allows it to discharge the wood chips directly into the tractor or lorry trailer.

The inclination of the discharge chute is also adjustable in order to control the distance of the discharged shredded material.

This 3-belt drive with reinforced belts gives the machine an extraordinary sturdiness, protecting both the multiplier and the internal shredding rotor from any kind of internal shock or kickback.

Much longer service life than the traditional systems still used by all manufacturers with the motor directly connected to the shredding unit.

The hydraulic pump drive is belt-driven too.

Warning: the cardan joint to connect the machine to the tractor PTO is not included.

The frame of the garden shredder is made of high-strength enamelled steel. It is equipped with a fixed 3-point hitch for connecting it to the tractor. The connections to the lifter are fitted with pins

The wood chipper can be folded for easy transport or storage. The machine is also equipped with 2 large rear pneumatic wheels for easy transport.

Furthermore, the hopper is equipped with a removable stabilising wheel placed on the side to ensure greater stability both during use and maintenance operations that require the shredding chamber to be opened.

The wood chipper is equipped with a hook to be moved using forklifts or hoists.

Electric start; it operates the electronic controller.
