The Ceccato MONSTER ELECTRIC electric three-phase 12.5 Hp garden shredder is a heavy-duty wood chipper intended for professional use and can easily shred branches with a 10 cm diameter.

It is an Italian top-quality motor, fitted with reinforced copper coating , where all the components are Ceccato Olindo branded.

The TRITONE MONSTER ELECTRIC is an entirely Made in Italy machine and it is equipped with a hopper where it is possible to enter a large amount of branches. Hopper dimensions: 620 x 520 mm

Garden shredders allow reducing weeds and twigs in an easy to handle and suitable size for composting. Shredding operations also allow reducing the material decomposing time.

The hopper is made of steel and it isn’t necessary to pre-shred branches before entering them into it. Thus, it also features a higher capacity that allows entering a large amount of material at a time.

This wood chipper is MADE IN ITALY, featuring the quality of large-sized shredders, thus ensuring maximum results in terms of cutting, speed and reliability.

The machine is compliant with the CE standards.

Warning: Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suited for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is intended to shred branches, but it can also grind leaves, needles and others)

Garden shredders intended use:
- The wood chipper must grind only green branches and not dried ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to quick deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The branch cutting diameter indicated is the maximum, so it is advised not to shred larger branches. In this case it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the amounts of wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hardwood and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood chipper);

Folding steel hopper to reduce bulk during transport, where it is possible to enter even very bulky branches and twigs without having to pre-shred them.

The rotating discharge chute allows the Operator to direct the wood chips where needed. The hopper height is 2 m and can rotate up to 180°.

It avoids the Operator to separate large branches from smaller and green ones (before shredding), while each of them must be entered in their own hopper in standard garden shredders with 2 separate hoppers.

The machine features the possibility to add sieves (NOT INCLUDED) to further reduce the wood chip size.

• SELF-FEEDING:

Once introduced the branches into the hopper, the shredder pulls them inside the shredding unit autonomously thanks to the hopper vertical design. Thanks to the gravitational force, the mechanism can pull inside the branches to be shredded.

WARNING: the branches must not be too bulky because this may limit the functionality of the machine.

The outer shredding chamber is proportionate to the rotor it includes. It guarantees excellent productivity, as well as the durability of the system. The machine structure is 100% made of steel. No plastic has been used.

Reinforced shredding blades: 2 front and 1 central large shredding blades. They pre-shred the wood into the hopper reducing it in coarse wood chips.

Focus on the hammer: 24 hardened steel shredding blades (or hammers) rotating at high speed. Thanks to their centrifugal motion they shred the branches in small wood chips.

Focus on the 2 counter-blades: Once assembled the hopper, they’ll be placed near the 2 rotating cutting blades fixed on the rotor. Thus, the "Blade + Counter-blade" system makes shredding operations easier and more efficient, reducing motor effort at the same time.

Focus on the sieve: this model of garden shredder is almost the only machinery equipped with a discharge chute featuring an openable and closable sieve, which allows the wood chips to be discharged exclusively once perfectly shredded by the 8 hammers. The sieve is equipped with a pivoting pin and a knob that allows it to be engaged to or disengaged from the chute. Lifting the sieve produce coarser fragments, maximising the hourly output of the shredder. By lowering the sieve, on the other hand, will maximise the shredding capacity of the machine, producing smaller wood chips.

The central rotor is composed of highly-thick 2 steel flywheels firmly assembled together.

These then represent a sturdy unit (the main component of the garden shredder) of truly superior size, strength and performance, with 69 cm diameter.

This rotor is therefore one of the sturdiest and largest rotors on the market.

Equipped with 2 large shredding blades. They pre-shred the wood into the hopper reducing it in coarse wood chips.

The large door of the rotor unit is equipped with 2 sturdy interchangeable counter-blades. These act as counter-blades to the 2 main blades and perform a scissor effect at the first cut of the branch entered into the hopper, ensuring an extremely efficient shredding result.
2 additional blades to optimise shredding operations, are placed in the centre of the rotor.

Equipped with 24 hardened steel shredding hammers (or blades) rotating at high speed. Thanks to their centrifugal motion they shred the branches in small wood chips.

Around the rotor there is a round-shaped sieve with many properly tilted counter-blades to improve the quality of the wood chips and the effectiveness of the 24 rotating hammers.
Differently from the first counter-blades, these ones are properly tilted to shred the branches entered into the hopper.

INTERMEDIATE REINFORCED BELT DRIVE.

This transmission gives the machine an extraordinary sturdiness, protecting both the motor and the internal shredding rotor from any kind of internal shock or kickback.

High-quality single-phase electric motor featuring 12.5 Hp of power that guarantees perfect shredding results.

In case of a rotor clogging caused, for example, by a too large branch, stones, etc.. there is no risk of breaking the drive shaft and the motor, but the intermediate belt will slip or at least will brake down.

Higher durability over time compared to the standard system of all the manufacturers of petrol-powered machineries, as the transmission is directly connected to the shredding cutting system.

The TRITONE MONSTER ELECTRIC is also equipped with pneumatic wheels featuring high built-quality steel rims, that can support and bear the high weight of the garden shredder. 360 Kg

The wood chipper can be folded for easy transport or storage.

It is recommended to tighten the self-locking bolts supplied with the hopper before starting the machine.

Two built-in rear pneumatic wheels facilitate the transport.

Furthermore, a third wheel with a steering handlebar is placed in the front part of the shredder to ensure the Operator high manoeuvrability.
