Comet MP 30 Pump

COMET MP 30 petrol pump is a product suitable for weeding and spraying treatments, medium and small-sized crops, parks, gardens, orchards, greenhouses and for spreading detergents and colours in water solution, washing operations, liquid spraying etc ... Also, it can be mounted on carts, wheelbarrows, portable or wheeled sprayers.

It has a Loncin G 200 F petrol engine with a displacement of 196 cc, capable of emitting a power of 5 Hp.

The pump is flanged, with petrol engine, speed reducer and control unit.

NOTE:

If products containing minerals such as kaolin, zeolite, basalt, etc. are used, washing should be carried out at the end of each treatment and at the end of each season to avoid long-term damage to the internal components of the pump. It is advisable to disassemble several parts of the pump, such as valves, heads and diaphragms, in order to clean out any agglomerated residues sedimented by the minerals.
These procedures will ensure a long life of the pump even if the above minerals are used.

Loncin G 200 F Engine

Original latest-generation Loncin G 200 F 4-stroke petrol engine with 196 cc displacement. It has been designed with ”OHV” overhead valve technology. Therefore, the pump will not need a lot of maintenance work since it will be much less complex than the previous DOHC technology.

Pressure Adjustment Unit

The heavy-duty pressure regulation unit allows you to adjust the output pump pressure (from 0 to 30 bar) through the upper grey knob. The grey lever with bypass system allows going from low pressure (in which the pump performs a simple water recirculation function) to high pressure for treatments.

The control unit is an original Comet product, GCP standard 2-way series. This consists of 2 available outputs, each equipped with a valve, suitable for many uses.

Generally, the two horizontal outputs are used to connect, for example, a pair of spray guns for orchards / olive groves, or stainless steel bars for vineyard, etc. Instead, the upper central valve is most often used to connect a hose reel or a bulk hose with spraying lances or guns. This operation is carried out directly by the operator.

The black side fitting is the recirculation fitting. In fact, all the liquid that is not used for pumping will come out from that fitting, which must then be connected through a piece of hose to the tank where it is contained. You can also use this overflow to mix the liquid.
