Comet MTP P40/20 SC 4T high-pressure diaphragm pump is suitable for weeding and spraying treatments, in small or medium crops, parks, gardens, vegetable gardens, greenhouses and for the distribution of detergents and colours in water solution. This versatile machine can be used for both phytosanitary treatments and cleaning and disinfection operations.

This GX120 engine-driven sprayer pump can be mounted on trolleys, wheelbarrows and mounted or wheeled sprayers. The Honda GX120 is a high-performance and reliable single-cylinder four-stroke engine with 122 cc and 3600 rpm max.

Thanks to its 3 Viton diaphragms, the machine is highly resistant to chemicals and mechanical abrasion, making it extremely versatile for use in sectors such as:

• Soil inoculant application
• Road de-icing
• Removal of moss, algae, etc.
• Sanitisation of food plants
• Fishing industry dock cleaning
• Treatment of water contaminated by fuels

This engine-driven pump is designed to withstand acid and chemical treatments, making it ideal for use in different situations. Thanks to its sturdiness and durability, this sprayer pump is able to operate continuously and smoothly, ensuring perfect soil spraying.

The pump is powered by a powerful Honda GX120 OHV engine. Single cylinder 4-Stroke petrol engine, 25° tilted and with horizontal shaft.

Focus on the pressure gauge

Semi-professional pressure regulating unit.

It allows adjusting the pressure at the pump outlet (from 0 to 20 bar).

It is fitted with 2 outlets as standard, which can be used to connect the different treatment equipment presented above. It is also equipped with a side cap that allows the possibility to add an additional third outlet when needed.

The black side joint is the overflow outlet. That is, all the liquid pumped but not used through said equipment exits that connection, which must then be returned with a piece of hose to the tank where the liquid dispensed is contained.

One can take advantage of this surplus to also implement a small liquid mixing action.

The pump is suitable for use with chemicals or acids, which offers an advantage over standard pumps.

In fact, thanks to the special configuration of the machine characterised by diaphragms and mechanical parts in contact with the liquid (heads and manifold) that are highly resistant to chemicals and mechanical abrasion, the pump can also be used with chemical or acid products, such as treatment with kaolin or particularly aggressive products that would corrode a standard aluminium pump.
