The DeWalt 18 V lithium-ion battery can be recharged at any time (just like the batteries of mobile phones, no memory effect) so it is always ready to use. It lasts on average 3 times longer than a standard battery. The battery is equipped with a convenient charge indicator.

There is roughly the same charge for the entire cycle without reducing the motor speed. The battery is running at full power until its complete exhaustion.
