Scarifier - Scarifier Einhell GC-SC 18/28 Li

The Einhell GC-SC 18/28 Li, a cordless lawn scarifier, is known for its efficiency thanks to its PurePOWER Brushless motor. This brushless motor provides superior power and increased autonomy, making it perfect for intensive work without breaks.

It is included in the Power X-Change family, which is characterised by the inter-compatibility of all batteries in the system, requiring only an 18V battery.

In addition, an extended 10-year engine warranty testifies to the manufacturer's confidence in the longevity of this product.

The design of the scarifier features a drum with 12 rotating knives mounted on ball bearings, ideal for effective cutting of vegetation.

The user can adjust the scarifying depth to three different levels and use a transport position that helps move the tool without damaging the grass.

For storage convenience, the handle is foldable and height adjustable to accommodate users of various stature.

The wide wheels of the scarifier reduce stress on the lawn during use, and its robust synthetic body provides superior impact resistance and durability.

ATTENTION:

Before the aeration process, the garden MUST BE STRICTLY abundantly watered, in order to prevent dust from entering inside the electric engine and cause damage. Furthermore, damp soil is much softer and facilitates this type of work, preventing problems with the transmission (belts, pulleys, etc.)

* The right time for this is spring, after the very first shave and depending on the area and type of climate (generally around March/April). For a perfect lawn care, it is highly recommended to repeat the operation in Autumn as well, thus removing the harder moss.

Battery-powered Engine

The Einhell GC-SC 18/28 Li lawn scarifier is equipped with a highly efficient brushless motor and extended runtime.

The Brushless Motor guarantees 10 times longer life than a brush motor, 50% more autonomy and 25% more power.

The 18 V lithium-ion batteries can be recharged at any time (like the batteries of modern smartphones, they have no memory effect) so that they are always ready for use. They last on average 30 times longer than a normal battery.

  • More reliable than an internal combustion engine, thanks to its electric motor. No spark plug, filters, oil dipstick, carburettors, etc. or components which can cause problems.

Blade rotor

Rotor with blades: recommended for the “scarifying process”. Stainless steel blades

This rotor type allows a more intensive lawn care thanks to the possibility to work the soil in depth. Indeed, the sharpened 12 blades penetrate vertically the lawn allowing the complete removal of moss, felt and weeds.
This feature allows the lawn to regenerate by improving oxygenation, drainage and nutrient uptake. * The right time for this operation is Spring, after the first mowing and depending on the area and climate (generally around March/April). For a perfect lawn care, it is highly recommended to repeat the operation in Autumn as well, thus removing the harder moss.

The rotor can be replaced WITHOUT using any extra tool.
