The peculiarity of this type of double-blade scythe mowers is to preserve the integrity of the grass while mowing, making a single clean cut at the base of the stem. This way it guarantees the integrity of the mown grass, which can be used to feed livestock.
This self-propelled petrol scythe mower can work on all kinds of surfaces, uneven and on gentle slopes.

Eurosystems scythe mower with double blade cut, equipped with self-propelled sculpted pneumatic wheels, connected to an oil-bath worm screw transmission, equipped with a single forward gear. The 87 cm cutter bar accessory, provided on standard kit, features a double blade motion ( both the lower and upper blade move with reciprocating motion) .

This differentiates it from all the self-propelled scythe mowers with classic petrol engines that you can find on the market by various manufacturers, which are still all equipped with single-blade motion (only the upper blade moves, while the lower blade is fixed).

The LONCIN engine is lightweight, high-performing and suitable for works which require a quite high power.

Powered by a 4-stroke petrol engine 139 cc, belonging to the latest technology with overhead valve “OHV”, single cylinder and a forced air cooling system.

The bar consists of the lower and upper blade, both moving with reciprocating motion. This differentiates the cutter bar of this Eurosystems petrol scythe mower from classic machines that you can find on the market nowadays, which still feature a traditional single-blade movement (i.e. only the upper blade moves, while the lower blade is fixed and merely acts as a counter-blade).

In fact, it rotates around its own quick release pin on the machine body.
This system allows this self-propelled double-blade petrol scythe mower to work on any type of terrain, even quite uneven, being able to adapt to its imperfections.

Belt transmission between the sickle bar and the machine body (protected by the large white front cover in the photo).
This allows you to extend the life of the cutter bar attachment (which is the most stressed while working, being the one that actually carries out the cutting operation in contact with the ground). In fact, the belt performs a function similar to that of a clutch (it can slip in case of blade impact, often avoiding wear or damage of the components).
However, we do not recommend getting into collisions with the machine or working on stony ground.

Another great advantage offered by the belt transmission is the blade engagement and disengagement lever. This double-blade scythe mower allows you to activate it only while working and then turn it off while moving (using the traction of the wheels with the fixed blade).
