The Eurosystems Minieffe Loncin 196 OHV is a self-propelled petrol rotary scythe mower featuring pneumatic Tractor wheels operated by an oil-bath worm screw transmission. Its 57 cm rotary scythe (included in the listing price) is made of a rotating disc equipped with 4 retracting blades rotating on their axis (the blades retract inside the body in case of shock).

The machine is equipped with a powerful 196 cc OHV Loncin engine

This is undoubtedly the most advanced and effective cutting system on the market today as it emulates the heavy-duty tractor drum scythe mower cutting system.

Suitable for all kinds of surfaces and any kind of grass (tall, short, thick, slender, straight, bent or crushed by weather conditions).

The Minieffe series features a new and effective anti-vibration system at the base of the handlebar, between the handlebar and its connection the machine there are four rubber pistons that will absorb the vibrations coming from the engine and the accessory mounted on the machine. Also, the knobs are anti-vibration as well thanks to the rubber cover.

Final Belt Drive

Final belt drive between rotary sickle and central machine transmission (protected by the black front casing in the photo).
This drive system increases the machine durability. The belt works almost like a clutch: it tends to slip in case the blades collide with something. Thus, the machine components that are normally subject to wear will last longer.

However, we recommend you to avoid hitting obstacles with the scythe mower and using it on rocky surfaces.

Another great advantage of the belt-driven transmission consists of the blade engagement/disengagement lever (upper red lever). The Operator can activate the petrol scythe mower blade only if and when necessary; where there is work to be done. Self-propulsion can be used to move the machine around even when the blade is disengaged. It allows, for instance, to move the machine using self-propulsion while the blade is stopped.
