The RYOBI RY18SFX35A-240 electric lawn scarifier is designed for hobby use. However, it is equipped with sturdy steel blades.
It is provided with a roller with 16 steel blades which can penetrate the soil and aerate it and 35 cm working width.
The handy RYOBI RY18SFX35A-240 is provided with 4 different working heights, easily adjustable on the wheels.
WARNING:
Before the aeration process, the garden MUST BE STRICTLY abundantly watered, in order to prevent dust from entering inside the electric motor and cause damage. Furthermore, damp soil is much softer and facilitates this type of work, preventing problems with the transmission (belts, pulleys, etc.)
* The right time for this operation is Spring, after the first mowing and depending on the area and climate (generally around March/April). For a perfect lawn care, it is highly recommended to repeat the operation in Autumn as well, thus removing the harder moss.
