Geotech MCT650 scythe mower

Self-propelled petrol scythe mower featuring large pneumatic tractor wheels.

The 76 cm sickle bar attachment (provided on standard kit) is a mulching cutter bar with standard single-blade action . A MULCHING blade is particularly effective thanks to the blade shape and sharpness. Achieving single-blade action requires a 2-blade cutter bar. The transmission system engages the upper blade through an oscillating motion, while the lower blade is fixed. This system allows chopping the grass effectively thanks to the position of the fixed lower blade that acts like a counter-blade.

This self-propelled scythe mower is also powered by a reliable Loncin petrol engine 196 cc (6.5 HP). Multi tool equipment that allows connecting a number of optional accessories to perform various tasks.

Suitable for mowing overgrown and tall grass. This type of scythe mower is very popular among users who need to re-use the grass to feed livestock.

The machine is equipped with a reverse clutch system, protecting the operator from possible accidents.

Mulching cutting system: the sickle bar consists of a lower blade and an upper blade, which moves with an oscillatory motion in contact with the lower blade that is fixed and acts as a counter-blade. This type of mulching cutting system is possible thanks to the blade shape, which allows making clean cuts and chopping very tall and thick grass.

The Operator can adjust the cutting height by setting the 2 rear runners angle.

Steering handles and controls

Focus on a detail of the steering bars. All the main controls are placed in this area.

Levers with black knob : Gearshift lever and shaft PTO

Red lever: (clutch lever), it starts the equipment. Make sure to press the white safety button before operating the lever in order to unlock the handle.

Focus on the handlebar height adjustment.

Focus on the locking system and handlebar rotation by means of the specific lever.
