GeoTech Pro PCS 155 BSE overview:
PCS: Professional Chipper Shredder, heavy-duty wood chipper
155: engine nominal power (rated power, lower)
BSE: Briggs & Stratton Electric, stands for the engine brand and electric start.
The GeoTech Pro PCS 155 BSE garden
shredder is specifically designed for shredding medium and large-sized branches and small logs, reducing their volume up to 5/6 times. Ideal for forestry and public green maintenance companies that need to quickly remove and grind biodegradable waste from the soil. It is provided with a towing hook, which allows the transport by any means. It is also equipped with the modern electrical safety devices which meet the CE standards.
Major strengths of this machine:
- Sturdiness thanks to the system with steel rotor.
- Cutting diameter (easily reaches 90 mm on green wood, not dry, compared to the 80 mm max. cutting diameter reached by petrol garden shredders);
- Exceptional working capacity, it can carry out intense and demanding operations even when constantly grinding large diameter wood.
- High hourly output, over the standard petrol wood chippers consisting of rotor with blades and hammers (it can reach 4/6 mc/h).
Limitations: The final size of the shredded wood is larger than average due to the lack of centrifugal hammers. The shredder produces fragments of approximately 4-5 cm and is not suitable for shredding leaves or other small green material. These shredders are specifically for chipping medium to large diameter branches (depending on the maximum cutting diameter indicated on each model), not suitable for leaves and small green material, and not very suitable for small diameter branches.
It can also be used for shredding palm trees.
PRODUCT NOT HOMOLOGATED FOR ROAD USE.
Warning: Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suited for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is intended to shred branches, but it can also grind leaves, needles and others)
Garden shredders intended use:
- The wood chipper must grind only green branches and not dried ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to quick deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The branch cutting diameter indicated is the maximum, so it is advised not to shred larger branches. In this case, it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the amounts of wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hardwood and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood chipper);
