GeoTech Pro PCS 30ES overview:

PCS: Professional Chipper Shredder, heavy-duty wood chipper

30: engine nominal power, 2.2 kW (rated power, lower)

ES: Electric single-phase, indicates the start system.

The GeoTech Pro PCS 30 ES wood chipper is specifically designed for shredding operations on medium-sized branches. Ideal for all those who need to maintain green spaces and who need to quickly remove and grind biodegradable waste from the ground.

The PCS 30ES model is equipped with electric safety devices in compliance with the CE standards.

Major strengths of this machine:

• Sturdiness, thanks to the system with steel rotor which ensures a long service life.
• Cutting diameter (up to 60 mm on green, non-dry wood)
• Single hopper: the only electric shredder equipped with a hopper that can be opened, allowing easy removal of clogs and making inspections much easier.

Limitations: the final size of the wood chips is larger than average due to the lack of centrifugal hammers.

Warning: Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suitable for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc.… (it is designed to shred branches, but it can also grind the leaves, needles and other vegetation that may be attached to them).

Garden shredders intended use:
- The wood chipper must grind only green branches and not dried ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to quick deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The branch cutting diameter indicated is the maximum, so it is advised not to shred larger branches. In this case it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the amounts of wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hardwood and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood chipper);

The machine is able to process even very bulky branches and leaves, without having to pre-shred them.

• UNIFIED HOPPER:

It considerably simplifies and speeds up the operations.
It eliminates the constant operation of dividing the material (before shredding) between the large, woody sections and the smaller, green sections, each of them must be placed in their own hopper (an operation required by all standard shredders equipped with 2 hoppers).

• SELF-FEEDING:

Once introduced the branches into the hopper, the shredder pulls them inside the shredding unit autonomously thanks to the hopper vertical design. Thanks to the gravitational force, the mechanism can pull inside the branches to be shredded.

WARNING: the branches must not be too bulky because this may limit the functionality of the machine.

Large and highly-thick 2 shredding blades mounted on a steel spinning rotor.

The dual blade system also includes a counter-blade placed in the shredding chamber.

This ensures high-quality wood chips with a hourly output varying from 2.5 to 4 mc/h.

The sturdy rotor is entirely made of steel.

Focus on the counter-blade adjustment system: the counter-blade is tilted with respect to the frame and rotor rotation direction for increasing the wood chipper shredding capacity and performance.

INTERMEDIATE REINFORCED BELT DRIVE.

This transmission gives the machine an extraordinary sturdiness, protecting both the motor and the internal shredding rotor from any kind of internal shock or kickback.

High-quality single-phase electric motor featuring 3 Hp of power that guarantees perfect shredding results.

In case of a rotor clogging caused, for example, by a too large branch, stones, etc.. there is no risk of breaking the drive shaft and the motor, but the intermediate belt will slip or at least will brake down.

Higher durability over time compared to the standard system of all the manufacturers of petrol-powered machineries, as the transmission is directly connected to the shredding cutting system.
