This generator supplies electricity with constant frequency and voltage, regardless of the change in load and motor speed; this is possible thanks to the use of an electronic converter that unlocks the inlet voltage from the outlet one.

Unlike other traditional generators, a permanent magnet generator and a control system of the motor revolutions are used depending on the actual power used, that enable a significant fuel consumption reduction and a less noise level with the use of medium-low loads.

The ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) panel has to be connected both to the electric utility and to the generator.

It allows providing electric power automatically in case of power interruptions.

The ATS device specifically reveals its functionality whenever an electric utility outage occurs: indeed, it is able to prevent serious effects to people as well as economic damage that can be caused in these particular situations.

We highly recommend considering the assistance of an electrician to connect the ATS PANEL to your home electrical utility.

Recoil start, fuel lever and smart-throttle switch: when no equipment is connected to the generator or when these are switched off and there is no consumption of energy produced by the generator, the machine works in fuel saving mode. This device is helpful to minimize the fuel consumption and reduce noise levels when there is no load applied to the generator. When the energy consumption is restored by connecting the equipment or switching it on, the generator automatically switches to the right speed in order to supply enough electricity. *this mode is to be used exclusively with 220 V electricity supply (not with the battery charger).

Light indicators:

- Power supply. It switches on after power switch activation. In normal conditions, only this green light must be on.

- Overload indication. If the generator is overloaded, or in case of malfunction or short circuit in a connected equipment, this red light signalling overload switches on. After few seconds, power supply is interrupted and the green light switches off. In this case, switch the engine off and detect the cause of the overload.

- Oil alarm system. Designed to avoid damages to the engine caused by an insufficient oil quantity. Before oil drops under the safety limit, the red warning light switches on and the oil alarm system automatically stops the engine. *Attention: the engine is provided without oil.

Firstly, the highest-quality method is to identify which are the electric appliances we need to power with the generator and then perform a simple calculation to identify the necessary power that the generator must supply, as explained below.

Power required = Electric appliance consumption X Breakaway starting coefficient

The starting coefficient represents a fundamental feature for all the electric equipment as it indicates how much the consumption of the electric appliance increases. Therefore, it allows to concretely determine how many WATTs are necessary during the start-up operations.

Example: Air compressor ( 1500 Watt ) X Starting coefficient ( 2 ) = 3000 Watt

Hence, it is important to address your choice on a generator featuring equal or higher WATT-rated electric power than the result obtained from the calculation made.
