GreenBay GB-WDC 120 HE - Professional petrol garden shredder - Honda GX390 engine

GreenBay GB-WDC 120 HE petrol garden shredder is equipped with a large steel hopper, which can also contain very voluminous branches and leaves without pre-shredding. It allows to reduce weeds and twigs to a size easy to handle and suitable for composting. The small size of the wood chips also reduces the time required to decompose.

Also, its large capacity allows entering large volumes of material at a time. Thanks to the wheels, the machine is easy to transport and able to reduce the strain during manual displacement of the machine.

This garden shredder has no road approval.

This petrol garden shredder has the same structure of large garden shredders, thus obtaining the best results in terms of cut, speed and reliability; it complies with CE regulations on work safety.

It mounts a Honda GX390 (13HP) engine, which is powerful and reliable at the same time. This shredder is equipped with a safety system that immediately stops the machine in case of emergency.

Warning: Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suitable for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is intended to shred branches, but it can also grind leaves, needles and other vegetation attached to them)

Intended use for garden shredders:
- The shredder must grind only green branches and not dry ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to rapid deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knotty (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The branch cutting diameter indicated is the maximum, so it is advised not to shred larger branches. In this case it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to wood type (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hard woods and can reduce the cutting capacity of garden shredders)

The garden shredder has a powerful Honda GX390 4-stroke air-cooled 420 cc engine, with overhead valves and aluminium cylinder.

The engine is started electrically by key.

WARNING: if you use it at less than full speed, the shredder won’t be able to grind large branches and perform a high-quality grinding, as well as having several problems.
- Lowering of engine speed or switching off during use;
- rapid deterioration of drive belts between engine and rotor;
- damage to the centrifugal clutch which, if the engine is not at maximum speed, does not fully expand, leading the engine to wear out and irreparably damaging it;

This is one of the few machines of this category with intermediate double belt drive transmission

This feature gives high sturdiness to the unit, protecting both the engine and all the shredding system from every possible internal shock or kickback.

The single hopper avoids separating (before grinding) the material between large and woody sections and smaller and green sections, each of which is inserted in its special hopper (operation required by all standard wood chippers equipped with 2 hoppers)

SAFETY DEVICE: it is possible to use the device placed around the hopper. In case of emergency it is possible to make a slight pressure with the hand on the device to immediately stop the garden shredder.

The cutting system consists of:

• 2 large cutting blades, which are mounted on a swiveling steel plate located at the end of the hopper.

The blades shred the material in the hopper into fragments of approx. 3-4 cm.

Equipped with large and sturdy shredding chamber. Its rounded shape ensures great productivity and long durability of the cutting system.

The discharge chute of this garden shredder rotates 360° and it is approximately 2 meters high.
