GreenBay GB-WTRC 150 - Tractor-mounted garden shredder - Drum rotor

The GreenBay GB-WTRC 150 garden shredder is intended to shred branches and logs with a maximum diameter of 150 mm, reducing their volume by 5/6 times. Ideal for those who need to clean up greeneries or remove biodegradable waste from the soil.

This machinery is very easy to use and maintain, also thanks to the possibility to close the storage hopper is simple and efficient, greatly reducing the space occupied.

The machine is equipped with an inspection mode to check for any residues left in the hopper, as well as the possibility of easily inspecting the cutting roller. THE CONTROL OPERATIONS MUST ALWAYS BE CARRIED OUT WHEN THE MACHINE IS STOPPED.

The rotor consists of 2 interchangeable blades and a counter-blade.

With a great value for money, this machine is suitable for shredding large quantities of vegetable waste.

The discharge chute opening can be rotated at 360°. Thus, it is of approx. 2 m height, which allows to directly discharge the shredded material into most of the loaders.

Warning: Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suited for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is intended to shred branches, but it can also grind leaves, needles and others)

Shredders intended use:
- The shredder must grind only green branches and not dried ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to rapid deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The branch cutting diameter indicated is the maximum, so it is advised not to shred larger branches. In this case it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the amounts of wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hardwoods and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood chipper)

Large and highly-thick 2 shredding blades are mounted on a large spinning steel plate.

The machine allows carrying out inspection operations of both the hopper and the roller.

The machine is also equipped with a locking pin which stops the rotor when it is necessary to replace the blades.

The double blade system is completed by the counter-blade located in the shredding chamber.

All wood chipper with roller system like this, carry out their work better by inserting branches already leafless and cleaned (not thick and with excessive branching);
And they are ideal for branches having a bit 'consistency and body, and not for thin and green branches , they are better thick or in high quantities; this is because the roller system is technically very suitable to grind small or minimum diameters, or green material in general, while really give the maximum with branches which have a bigger diameter and density.
This is related to their lower "centrifuging" power compared to the classical models and disc blades, and the "greater distance between the blade and counter-blade", designed for individual branches already well thinned but consistent diameter.

You can quickly open the hopper by turning it on two hinges for quick access to the rotor in case of jam event.

The hopper stops in the inspection position thanks to a hook present on the structure.

Warning: All the inspections and checks must be carried out only when the machine is stopped.
Carefully read the instructions manual before starting the unit.

Provided with 360° rotating discharge chute.

You will just need to simply press the lever and rotate it in the desired position.

The inclination of the discharge chute is also adjustable in order to control the distance of the discharged shredded material.

3 Point Hitch

Supporting hook that allows lifting the equipment located on the upper side of the machine.

The standard-supplied cardan shaft is equipped with safety bolt.

The torque limiter with safety bolt allows avoiding damage to the mechanical parts of the machine while operated in case of over-stress and unforeseen torque. Indeed, when the torque exceeds the power bearable by the bolt, the latter breaks off and the transmitted power will be reset. You will need to replace the bolt with one of the same resistance, diameter, length and thread in order to reactivate the transmission.
