Handle and Controls

All controls for starting and using the chainsaw are placed on the ergonomic handle.

Round file, handle included. High-quality and professional tool to sharpen the chain teeth.

Round file guide, with important sliding features and wear resistance, to handle the file easily and effectively and thus obtain an optimal sharpening of the chain.

Template for sharpening, for maximum control of the sharpening angle, tooth length and depth gauge setting, and also for cleaning the bar groove.

Manual chain sharpening is the best method as it allows a thorough and effective sharpening. A well-sharpened chain produces thin, regular logs, while a non-sharpened chain produces a lot of sawdust and uneven cuts.
During the sharpening process, the chain can be left assembled with the tool resting on a surface, or removed and locked in a support, the blade must be fixed (for example with a vice) to have both hands free while working, so as to work on every single tooth.
You have to work on th teeth one by one. The result will be great since it can be checked step by step. This method extends the working life of the chain and ensures less wear of the teeth.
The teeth should be sharpened with light, regular strokes at an angle of approximately 30° to the blade. Each tooth must receive the same number of strokes. You should sharpen every second tooth starting from the right and those in the middle starting from the left.
