GTM GTS 600 G - Petrol-driven shredder - Loncin G200F engine

The GTM GTS 600 G shredder is capable of shredding branches with a maximum diameter of 50 mm. It is fitted with a 196cc petrol-powered Loncin G200F engine with a rated power of 6.5 HP.

Moving the chipper is facilitated by two pneumatic wheels with a diameter of 26 cm and a handle under the hopper.

The hopper has a loading height of about 100 cm, making it easy to load branches into it, while the ejection chute, located at a height of about 80 cm, can be adjusted up to 85°.

There is also a convenient and easily accessible safety button on the base which, if pressed, immediately stops operation of the machine, making it very safe to use.

It has a roller equipped with double 'PRO Blades' and a counter-blade. This configuration ensures high efficiency in fragmenting vegetable waste, turning it quickly into more manageable pieces.

Warning

Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suited for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is intended to shred branches, but it can also grind leaves, needles and others)

Garden shredders intended use:
- The wood chipper must grind only green branches and not dried ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to quick deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The branch cutting diameter indicated is the maximum, so it is advised not to shred larger branches. In this case it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the amounts of wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hardwood and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood chipper);

Steel hopper capable of receiving even very bulky branches and twigs without pre-processing, The hopper mouth has a size of 25x25 cm. The hopper can be raised and secured in a vertical position to perform checks or maintenance operations on the roller.

• UNIFIED HOPPER:

It considerably simplifies and speeds up the operations.
It avoids the Operator to separate large branches from smaller and green ones (before shredding), while each of them must be entered in their own hopper in standard garden shredders with 2 separate hoppers.

• SELF-FEEDING:

Once introduced the branches into the hopper, the shredder pulls them inside the shredding unit autonomously thanks to the hopper vertical design. Thanks to the gravitational force, the mechanism can pull inside the branches to be shredded.

WARNING: the branches must not be too bulky because this may limit the functionality of the machine.

• SAFETY BUTTON: Placed on the base, if pressed it interrupts machine operation.

TILTING CHUTE:

This shredder has an exhaust chimney that can be adjusted in height by means of a pin.

The ejection nozzle is positioned at a height of about 80cm.

The double-blade system is complemented by the counter-blade in the shredding chamber.

All shredders with a roller system such as this one do their best work by inserting branches that have already been pruned and cleaned (not thick and with excessive branching);
And they are ideal for branches with a little texture and body, and not for thin, green, dense or large branches; this is because the roller system is technically unsuitable for grinding small or minimal diameters, or green material in general, while they really give their best with real branches of a certain diameter and body. This is related to their lower 'centrifugal' power compared to classic disc and blade models, and the 'greater distance between blade and counter-blade', designed for single branches that are already well thinned but have a large diameter.
