Moreover, thanks to technological research, Honda invented the first 4-stroke engine which operates at any inclination. This configuration is called "any-side-up".

The Honda GX50 is a 47.9 cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine. It is equipped with a single cylinder and it is able to develop a maximum power of 2 Hp at 7000 rpm, and a torque of 2.2 Nm at 7000 revolutions per minute.

The weight and size of the engine are highly reduced, only 4.15 kg dry per 20x26x26 cm³.

Equipped with a 0.63 L fuel tank, the Honda GX50 engine runs on unleaded petrol. Also equipped with a 130 ml oil tank, which feeds the unique lubrication system that Honda has developed for these engines.

No more fuel issues and no need to prepare the mixture or worry about having fresh mixture supplies. Eco-friendly engine: one of the least polluting models of this sector.

WARNING: the pruner attachment is suitable for AMATEUR USE, therefore medium-low intensity work (we do not recommend to cut branches larger than 10-12 cm diameter).

The hedge trimmer attachment is not suitable for intensive and heavy-duty use. The maximum cutting diameter is 10-12 mm (for larger branches it is advisable to choose a heavy-duty hedge trimmer without pole and with a large blade), remember not to use it on dry branches.

WARNING: the hedge trimmer attachment is intended for AMATEUR USE, so it is not suitable for intensive use but mainly for finishing work. The maximum cutting diameter is 10-12 mm (for larger branches it is advisable to choose a heavy-duty hedge trimmer without pole and with a large blade). Do not use it on dry branches.

Attaching the hedge trimmer to the extension pole is possible by removing a screw with a simple screwdriver; however, we strongly advise against using the hedge trimmer on the extension fitting due to the high vibration caused by the excessive length. We therefore recommend using it without the extension attachment.

The extension is only suitable for the following attachments:

• Pruner with chain saw
• Hedge trimmer with adjustable head

It CANNOT be attached to the brush cutter attachment.

The extension fitting increases the range of the attachments by 75 cm.

The extension fitting is equipped with quick coupling.

ATTENTION:

Attaching the hedge trimmer to the extension pole is possible by removing a screw with a simple screwdriver; however, we strongly advise against using the hedge trimmer on the extension fitting due to the high vibration caused by the excessive length. We therefore recommend using it without the extension attachment.
