Honda HP 500 BX E1 Tracked Power Barrow - Extendable dumper truck - Load capacity 500 Kg

The Honda HP 500 BX E1 wheelbarrow is equipped with an extendable body with a maximum load capacity of 500 kg on flat surfaces.

The body can be easily extended by removing the fixing bolts on the edges. Provided with different adjustments for the extension of the loading platform.

These allow the body to be extended up to 120x90 cm.

Equipped with a powerful Honda GXV160 engine 163 cc, which is capable of delivering a maximum power of 4.3 HP.

The tracked barrow is equipped with hydrostatic transmission, which allows you to change the speed even during the machine running, without the need to stop the unit. It can reach a forward speed of 4.3 km/h and 3.6 km/h in reverse.

Among the other features of this wheelbarrow it is possible to find its tracks, that ensure stability and safety during use of the machine even with a heavy load and gradients that normal wheelbarrow fail to address.

The frameof the machine is designed and built so as to make it lightweight and robust .

This power barrow has a hydrostatic gearbox, which allows you to change speed simply by moving a lever. The gearbox is controlled by the pump unit, which is placed in front of the engine. The pump brings the oil directly from the tank to the transmission box on the tracks and allows it to be moved.

It can reach a forward speed of 4.3 km/h and 3.6 km/h in reverse.

Sturdy gears make the gearbox difficult to break. The hydrostatic transmission is by far the most modern and functional (although more expensive) compared to the traditional manual transmission gears. Whenever the speed is changed, the hydrostatic gearbox forces the operator to stop the unit, change gear, release the clutch and re-start the power barrow at the desired speed. In case of frequent speed variations (e.g. In gardens with trees, vases or other types of obstacles) the traditional gear transmission wouldn’t be practical at all. The hydrostatic transmission, on the other hand, allows immediate speed changes, without ever stopping and in a totally automatic manner, simply by varying the pressure on the drive pedal of this transmission.

Track structure: sturdy and over-sized. Both the height and the length is greater than the average of the wheelbarrows on the market of the same size. The drive wheel is made of cast iron / steel. The perfect front / rear balance ensures the distribution of loads and a perfect adherence to the ground. The rollers are self-cleaning.

Body made in high-resistance steel, is reinforced with tubular cross members in the lower part, which make it suitable for any load or stress.

The load floor is at the minimum distance from the ground both to facilitate the operations of loading / unloading that to keep low the center of gravity of the machine.

The body is able to tilt up to 60°.

To extend the body, simply unscrew the bolts on the edges of the dumper and screw them back once the required size has been reached.

The mechanical tilting of the body is activated manually with the special rubber release lever placed on the side of the barrow.

Controls: easy to operate and ergonomic, they offer precision and controllability in the work

Side levers for starting the wheelbarrow, if left in place they act as a parking brake

The two lower levers are for steering, left and right respectively.

The steering can be adjusted depending on the control lever and it allows moving smoothly. If either lever is partially pulled, the steering of the respective track, right or left, will also be partial.
This allows smoothly steering the power barrow without causing abrupt movements.
