Open frame inverter generators emit an electric current with a sine wave, perfectly stabilised. This makes them suitable for use with equipment with an electronic circuit board such as PCs, televisions or for audio amplifiers, so that no background noise from the current can be heard. This generators produce electrical energy at a constant frequency and voltage, irrespective of changes in load and engine speed; this is made possible by the use of an electronic converter that decouples the amplitude of the input voltage from the output voltage.
