The battery-powered V34 olive harvester by Jolly Italia is a truly innovative product in the field of olive harvesting. Harvesting olives has never been easier, with a weight of 1290 kg and a pole length of up to 1.86 m.

The motor allows reaching 1350 bpm.

Designed and built for anyone but especially for those who prefer manoeuvrability and ergonomics to raw power.

Thanks to its portable one-handed configuration and lightweight 18 V 9Ah lithium-ion battery, it allows you to rake even the lowest branches ergonomically and conveniently.

The inserted locking slide has a handy transformer inside that changes the battery voltage from 18 V to 34 V.

Furthermore, despite it is an electric-powered machine, it has a purely mechanical operation and it is easy to use and shockproof.

The carbon rods are interchangeable and the comb has a circular shape. This narrow and elongated shape allows also penetrating into the thickest foliage to greatly increase productivity.

The push button prevents the tool from being switched off during work by accidentally hitting a branch.

After pressing the button, it only takes a few seconds to start the machine, so this system allows you a better control of the tool.

Harvesting rake

The greatest innovative feature of the harvesting rake is its peculiar round shape slightly inclined axis and not perpendicular, with respect to the classic harvesters with a rectangular shape to support the rods which makes this product:

The special design of the comb and its movement make the collection work even more effective. The movement and conformation ensure a correct separation of the olives causing them to fall perpendicularly to the branches of the plant, directly on the collecting cloth.

about the autonomy of lithium batteries

When using a harvester, the choice of battery depends on the practical needs of the user. The main differences between a base-mounted battery and a backpack battery concern freedom of movement and autonomy. The base-mounted battery is more manoeuvrable and lighter, but offers reduced autonomy. In contrast, the backpack provides longer working sessions, although it can be bulkier in tight spaces.

Base-mounted lithium-ion batteries offer greater freedom of movement. The lack of cumbersome cables improves agility when working between trees, making the harvester easier to manoeuvre. They are generally lighter than the backpak once, reducing operator fatigue, and make it easier to transport the device. In addition, handling is more intuitive, not requiring additional equipment such as a backpack. On the downside, however, they have a very limited autonomy and often cannot do a full day's work on their own.

On the other hand, lithium backpack batteries, while adding a certain amount of bulk, allow for greater energy capacity, extending the operational life of the harvester without the need for frequent recharging or battery changes. Their higher capacity allows long working sessions without interruption. In addition, shifting the weight of the battery to the back reduces the direct load on the arm and body, better balancing the overall weight of the equipment.

However, backpack batteries can be less ergonomic and uncomfortable in tight spaces or during quick movements between trees, and the presence of the cable can be an obstacle or obstruction during operation. Finally, the constant carrying of the backpack may cause more fatigue in the long run than an integrated solution in the product base.
