Makita DCU180 electric wheelbarrow with basin - WITHOUT BATTERIES

The Makita DCU180 battery powered wheelbarrow with basin is a user friendly and efficient machine intended for gardens and farmlands applications. Comfort and power just in one product: will be very easy to carry logs and grass clippings and to transport soil, bricks and heavy materials. The rear swivel casters are great when access is poor and the brake stopping system allows working in complete safety. The front pneumatic wheel ensures the maximum grip on the soil also thanks to the presence of the motor on it.

The wheelbarrow is self-propelled and has 2 speeds: forward and reverse.

The battery powered electric motor is very quiet and offers maximum efficiency, avoiding the exhaust gas as for standard internal combustion engines.

The 18V Lithium-Ion battery can be recharged any time (just like modern smartphone batteries, no memory effect) so it's always ready for use. On average, it lasts 3 times longer than a regular battery. The battery features a handy charge level indicator.

Maximum loading capacity: 130 kg

Basin can be tipped over by means of the proper cart release lever. This enables to tip over the loading on the desidered point with a simple movement.

This wheelbarrow is equipped with self-propulsion to ease the operator's work.

The big rear castors are swivelling (3.00-4) and ensure an excellent grip ensuring a high manoeuvrability in narrow spaces. Moreover, it is equipped with lock for a maximum safety.

The front castor is very big and sturdy (4.80/4.00 - 8) and is able to reduce any effort to minimum.

LONGER DURATION: lasts up to 3 times longer than traditional Nickel-Cadmium batteries so it can be used for long periods without recharging. Perfect for medium-large gardens.

FULL CHARGE FOR THE ENTIRE BATTERY DURATION: the Lithium-Ion battery charge doesn't decrease. Nickel-cadmium batteries gradually lose power. Lithium battery cells have a constant power level during the whole cycle. Thus, the battery charge is constant from the beginning until the end and the motor rpm rate doesn't decrease. The battery provides full power before it dies completely.

LONG CHARGE DURATION: Lithium-Ion batteries last 3-4 times longer than traditional Nickel-Cadmium batteries and their power storage lasts longer so they lose less power. Lithium batteries allow up to 2.000 charge cycles!

REDUCED WEIGHT: Lithium batteries have the best power-weight ratio. A lithium battery weighs 1/3 of a nickel-cadmium battery on average.

ECO-FRIENDLY: Lithium battery-powered tools can be recycled and they aren't made with heavy metals.

ZERO MEMORY EFFECT: Lithium batteries can be recharged any time without the negative memory effect. They offer maximum power after hundreds of charge cycles. Charging the battery for a few minutes will supply enough power to get the work done.

LOW POWER LOSS RATE: The power loss rate is up to 5 times lower than that of Nickel-Cadmium batteries so this tool will be ready for use even after very long breaks.

BATTERY CHARGER: Lithium battery chargers allow reducing power consumption by 35% on average.
