Makita DLM533 - Self-propelled Battery-powered Lawn Mower - 4x18V/5Ah - 53 cm Cutting Width

The LXTDLM533Z self-propelled lawn mower is an advanced model for professional use. This device, with a brushless motor and a cutting width of 53.4 cm, guarantees high performance, particularly suitable for residential areas.

The structure is made of a steel shell and the weight is 42.8 kg.

Equipped with a 4-slot system for 18V batteries, the mower offers a long operating range. ADT technology automatically adapts motor speed and torque according to the load, thereby optimising cutting performance.

The device's functionalities include cutting, collecting in a 70 L basket and mulching, with additional accessories such as a mulching cap and a deflector for grass side discharge.

The cutting height, which can be adjusted between 20 and 100 mm via a lever, allows the device to adapt to different soil requirements.

Safety is ensured by a soft start and an electric motor brake that stops the engine immediately in an emergency.

IPX4 certified for water splash resistance, the mower is ideal for use in various weather conditions. A LED indicates the remaining battery charge, allowing constant monitoring of the working range.

The compartment of the Makita 5Ah 4 batteries, already supplied with the lawn mower, is placed in the centre of the front part of the machine.

Simply lift the cover with the proper release e remove the batteries to recharge them with the double quick battery charger provided.

Safety key

The 18 V Makita lithium-ion batteries can be recharged at any time (just like the batteries of modern smartphones, no memory effect) so it is always ready to use. They last on average 3 times more than a standard battery. The lawn mower is equipped with a handy charging indicator.

FULL CHARGE FOR THE ENTIRE BATTERY LIFE: the charge of the lithium-ion batteries does not fade. Unlike nickel-cadmium batteries, which power gradually decreases, lithium-ion batteries, cells maintain constant power throughout the entire cycle. There is roughly the same charge for the entire cycle without reducing the motor speed. The battery is running at full power until its complete exhaustion.

LONGER CHARGE LIFE: lithium-Ion batteries last 3–4 times longer than traditional Nickel-Cadmium batteries and their power storage lasts longer so they lose less power. Lithium-ion batteries can be recharged up to 2000 times!

LIGHTWEIGHT: Lithium batteries offer the best power-to-weight ratio. On average, they weigh 1/3 of nickel-cadmium batteries.
