The Makita battery-powered pruner is a highly-performing and efficient tool, ideal for those looking for a product that fully meets their needs.

The UA004GZ model with a 40 V 2.5Ah battery features a high cutting capacity in all conditions of use and it is specially performing for pruning operations in orchards, vineyards, but above all for cutting branches, even the tallest ones.

The T-REX model pole is telescopic, which allows the pruner to be extended from 287 cm up to 402 cm.

The pruner features a high cutting capacity thanks to the powerful 40 V battery-powered motor.

The bar measures 300 mm (12 ") and features a speed of 20 m/s, which allows the machine to perform an extremely efficient work.

Lubricating the blade is very easy, thanks to the convenient, highly transparent container that allows easy control of the amount of oil, located near the blade head with a 0.16 L capacity.

Extremely silent, it doesn’t emit vibrations that could interfere with the cutting operations.

Excellent for easy free-hand cutting on wood, wood materials and plastic.

Handle and shaft

The telescopic pole is equipped with with locking function, designed to manoeuvre the machine comfortably.

Its maximum extension is 402 cm, which allows pruning branches and shrubs up to 5.52 m, Operator height included.

The telescopic pole can be locked, which allows using the cutting tool at its max. operating height. It can be precisely adjusted depending on the type of use and the cutting operation to perform.

Thanks to the very thin blade head combined with a very high maximum extension, the machine can cut even the highest and hardest-to-reach branches.

Electric motor and battery

The Makita 40 V lithium-ion battery can be recharged at any time (just like the batteries of mobile phones, no memory effect) so it is always ready to use. It lasts an average of 3 times more than a standard battery. The battery is equipped with a comfortable charge indicator.
