The MTD SnowThorx 90 OHV engine is specifically designed to takle very cold temperatures. The engine is equipped with electric starter that can be connected directly to the power line. Winterized engines like this one aren't provided with air filter as, working in environments with low temperatures and snow, this last can create humidity that could freeze damaging the air filter and causing problems to the machine.
