In this category you can find disc petrol garden shredders with blades and hammers, self-feeding, mostly suitable to shred wood and thick branches, but also green and organic material of small and medium size.
The material easily enters thanks to self-feeding rollers which, rotating towards the inside of the machine, pull the material inside and prevent it from escaping from the hopper.
The cut is carried out through the hardened steel disc rotor with blades, which allows to cut even the hardest and thickest branches. The internal grinding rotor produces large wood chips, which constitutes a pre-shredding phase.
The wood chips then pass through a high-speed rotating jointed hammer shredding system, before the final product is ejected from the discharge chute.
Many models are equipped with removable grids which allow to set the degree of fineness of the wood chips and whose final size can be adapted to the production of pellets by wood pellet machines.
All garden shredders-wood chippers feature a large hopper which allows inserting large foliage and avoids separating small and large material; in addition, once the material has been inserted, the machine will automatically pull it inside, without the help of tools or the operators.
Large pneumatic wheels, adjustable discharge chute and the best safety systems complete the range of accessories mounted on this line of machines. For larger models, a trailer hitch is fitted as standard for easy transport.
You can choose between self-feeding disc garden shredders with blades and hammers with engines by three different brands: Briggs & Stratton, Honda e Loncin.
