Rato R3800 AVR - 3.8 kW Petrol Power Generator with AVR - DC 3.5 kW Single-phase

This single-phase petrol-engine generator Rato R3800 3.5 kW ATS is a high-level generator protected by a sturdy double casing. The ratio between the generator's wieght (63 kg) and the maximum power that it can supply make the Rato R3800 a top-of-the-range product.

This model mounts a 301cc petrol engine with a rated output of 8 HP. The 24 lt fuel tank ensure a long working autonomy.

The alternator is completely coated with copper and the generator can supply up to 3800 kW. The anti-vibration rubber washers under the alternator provide improved stability to the machine and reduced vibrations.

The 4-stroke petrol engine ensures low emissions while operating.

Equipped with AVR card, which constantly regulates output voltage.

The generator is not designed for energy production, charging or maintaining batteries for the photovoltaic or solar panels systems (or similar); this can seriously damage the generator.

WARNING: all generators classified as LOWER than PROFESSIONAL (considering the product level scale used by our website) are not intended for more than 3-4 hours continuous work in order not to reduce the alternator durability, as well as that of one of the other machine components due to the unit overheating or wear. For a daily or frequent use, we highly recommend considering generators rated at least as PROFESSIONAL on the product level scale provided by our website.

The starting coefficient is a fundamental feature for all electric equipment, as it indicates how much the consumption of the electric appliance increases. Therefore, it allows to concretely determine how many Watts are necessary during the start-up operations.

Example: Air compressor (1,500 Watt ) X Starting coefficient (2) = 3,000 Watt

Hence, it is important to address your choice on a generator featuring equal or higher Watt-rated electric power than the result obtained from the calculation.

Check the consumption of any electric appliance on the operator’s use and maintenance manual or on the plate attached to the machine.

• The generator can be used to power household devices in emergency conditions (no current service provided to the domestic household by the power supplier), exclusively on the models that are specifically provided with ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) device (specifically designed for this purpose and provided with connecting systems to your household electrical power).

• The generator is NOT INTENDED FOR PROFESSIONAL USE. It means that it is exclusively designed for occasional use (infrequent use of the unit). The working hours must not exceed 3-4 hs of continuous running (which may lead to the alternator overheating or wear, especially to its internal components: alternator stator and rotor). If you are looking for a generator for intensive use (once a week, for instance), you should address the choice to a different type of generator, specifically designed for a more intensive use. We suggest to focus on PROFESSIONAL or even INDUSTRIAL quality-level generator (that is not provided with standard 3000 rev/min alternator as this specific model, but it is designed with professional low-speed alternator: 1500 rev/min – with liquid-cooled engine and alternator – in this case you’ll see that the unit specifications and price are much different from this model).

• The generator is not designed to be installed in photovoltaic or solar energy systems for energy production nor for the recharging or maintenance of batteries of these specific or other electric systems. Indeed, it may damage seriously the generator on its internal components (alternator, engine and electrical component). Each photovoltaic system requires a generator for INDUSTRIAL use (not for domestic use as this present model), specifically designed and manufactured for this purpose.
