Rover 40 Electric Transfer Pump

Rover 40 electric transfer pump with 1.2 hp motor is a self-priming, two-way electric pump.

This is a standard two-way side liquid ring self-priming pump, with star impeller. This particular feature gives it extraordinary self-priming capacity, even with discontinuous availability of liquid during suction (which means presence of air or other gases).

It is suitable for the gentle transfer of filtered liquids in agriculture, oenology, boating and gardening. The liquids to be transferred must be neutral and clean, or contain a percentage of solids (0.2-0.5% max) having such hardness and granulometry features so as not to wear the internal surfaces of the pump. In extreme cases, a fine mesh filter applied on the suction hose may be useful. Suitable liquids: water, wine, milk, must, liquid detergents, diesel and glycol.

The pump is "self-priming": just put a little liquid in the impeller before use, turn it on, and it will suction every type of liquid by itself.

Two-way: it can pump liquids in both directions. One of the many advantages is that it allows very precise transferring, with the possibility of making corrections by pumping the liquid in the opposite direction if necessary. The direction is set thanks to the double function switch.
