Snapper M1024E - Petrol Snowplough - B&S 950 Snow

The Snapper M1024E snow thrower is designed for clearing snow on driveways and paths.

Compact and reliable, it offers high quality features such as the B&S 950 Snow engine with electric start, Free Hand Control and clutch drive with 6 forward and 2 reverse gears.

Powerful engine with 208 cc cubic capacity and tested start up to -29°C.

The Snapper M1024E snow blower is the ideal machine for carrying out intensive operations on medium-sized areas, even in difficult conditions where control and grip to the ground are essential.

The Snow type wheels with which the snow plough is equipped give it great traction and are specially designed for working in the snow.

The Snapper snow thrower is provided with electric starting and can be connected directly to the home mains, allowing the machine to be started even at very low temperatures. The machine is not equipped with a battery as low temperatures would ruin it in a very short time. The batteries do not tolerate sudden temperature changes.

The large front auger in the 60 x 52 cm housing is professionally designed and provided with a steel spiral profile and serrated edge. This auger shreds the snow discharging it even metres away via the discharge chute made of high-quality steel, that can be adjusted and swivelled by means proper controls. Equipped with an aluminium bevel gear that guarantees the movement and synchronisation of the 2 stages. There is also a grease nipple for easy routine maintenance.

The Snapper M1024E snow plough is also equipped with:

The SNAPPER M1024E snow blower is equipped with a powerful 208 cc B&S Series 950 4-stroke air-cooled engine with overhead valves and aluminium cylinder.

It develops a maximum power of 7 Hp at 3600 rpm.

The engine is winterised, i.e. it is equipped with a special coating to protect the components most susceptible to cold and to insulate the engine from sudden and abrupt drops in temperature. This allows the engine performing best at low temperatures when the snow blower is in use.

The engine of this snow blower is equipped with electric start. This system is provided with battery. Indeed, this allows starting the snow thrower directly connecting it to the electrical socket. This is because batteries, when subjected to sudden temperature changes, tend to run out quickly. And more, they can hardly stand sporadic use.

The milling cutter housing is 60 cm width and 52 cm height.

The 2 stages consist of a first stage with the serrated spiral front cutter that breaks up the snow and conveys it towards the second stage, the discharge fan with high blowing power.

2 shear pins for protecting the equipment in case of shocks are placed on the horizontal shaft of the serrated milling cutter.

The heavy-duty auger features a steel spiral equipped with serrated edge.
This feature, together with the optimised shape, provides advanced ice chopping and snow clearing power.

Adjustable plastic side skids.
These allow this snow thrower to work on all types of terrain, from smooth to uneven ones (by raising the working height through the skids). It can also operate on gravel surfaces.
Plastic allows the machine to operate on special terrain without scratching it.

In order to control the snow ejecting direction, the discharge chute can be swivelled by means a hand lever. Furthermore, the deflector at its bottom can also be adjusted directly from the control panel to achieve the desired ejection distance.

The chute is also equipped with a grid that prevents foreign objects to enter into it.

All the controls for operating the snow thrower are placed on the dashboard.

The Free Hand system allows changing the forward speed on the move, while keeping the auger running.

The Easy Turn system allows you to turn left and right by pulling the relevant trigger located under the two handles. The machine is also equipped with the controls for adjusting the discharge chute and the deflector.

Gear lever on the right: 6 forward gears and 2 reverse gears

Lever on top of the right handle: enables and disables the forward and reverse gears (whatever speed is selected on the gearbox). Releasing this lever stops the machine instantly, for safety reasons.

Lever on top of the left handle: enables and disables both the auger and the high-speed fan (enables and disables both stages simultaneously).

Discharge chute deflector direction: it can be adjusted via the lever on the dashboard.

LED headlight: The LED headlight allows you to operate in low visibility conditions and during evening.

Milling cutter housing skids: Milling cutter housing is equipped with 2 height-adjustable side skids to prevent any scraping of steel on the ground or for use on uneven surfaces. The skids are reversible to increase the service life.

Tool for unclogging: if the discharge chute clogs it can be easily cleared with the proper tool.

The 14" x 4" tyres supplied are Snow type featuring a notching designed specifically for operating on the snow.
