Top Line BIONDA - Electric Garden Shredder - Three-phase Motor

The Top Line BIONDA Electric Shredder, equipped with a 400-volt three-phase motor, is designed to optimise the management of plant residues, transforming brushwood and twigs into finely shredded material, ideal for composting.

This machine, through an efficient crushing process, significantly reduces the time required for the decomposition of the treated material.

Equipped with a large steel hopper, the shredder can handle large branches and twigs without the need for pre-processing, allowing a considerable amount of material to be fed into each processing cycle.

Its capacity is designed to maximise productivity by reducing downtime.

The rotor configuration, consisting of two front knives, six chopping hammers and a counter-blade, is designed to guarantee a precise cut and high processing speed, while ensuring reliability and durability.

The machine complies with the most strict CE regulations on safety at work, as well as recent strict EU directives. This ensures not only operational efficiency, but also maximum safety for operators during use.

Warning: Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suited for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is intended to shred branches, but it can also grind leaves, needles and other vegetation that may be attached to the branches)

NOT SUITABLE FOR SMALL and FLIMSY BRANCHES, ESPECIALLY OLIVE BRANCHES!

Main recommendations concerning use for all shredders on the market:
- The shredder must process branches recently cut off the tree, and not dry ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to rapid deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The stated cutting diameter is the maximum, so in use, it is the exception and not the rule. In this case, it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the consistency of the wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hard woods and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood shredder);

Large steel hopper, able to handle even bulky branches and twigs without pre-processing. Thus, it also features a higher capacity that allows entering a large amount of material at a time.

• UNIFIED HOPPER:

It considerably simplifies and speeds up the operations.
It eliminates the constant operation of dividing (before grinding) the material between the large, woody sections and the smaller, green sections, each of which must be placed in its own hopper (an operation required by all classic bio-shredders with 2 hoppers)

• SELF-FEEDING:

Once introduced the branches into the hopper, the shredder pulls them inside the shredding unit autonomously thanks to the hopper vertical design. Thanks to the gravitational force, the mechanism can pull inside the branches to be shredded. WARNING: the branches must not be too bulky because this may limit the functionality of the machine.

INTERMEDIATE REINFORCED BELT DRIVE.

This drive gives the machine an extraordinary sturdiness, protecting both the motor and the internal shredding rotor from any kind of internal shock or kickback.

In case of a rotor clogging caused, for example, by a too large branch, stones, etc… there is no risk of breaking the drive shaft and the motor, but the intermediate belt will slip or at least will break down.

THREE-PHASE ELECTRIC MOTOR

Ravel electric motor, Made in Italy, of excellent quality with 4 HP power that guarantees perfect shredding of wood chips.

Much longer service life compared to the traditional systems still used by all manufacturers with an internal combustion engine directly connected to the shredding unit.

Focus on the three-phase connection

The outer shredding chamber is proportionate to the rotor it includes. It guarantees excellent productivity, as well as the durability of the system.

Reinforced blades: 2 large shredding blades. These blades pre-shred the material into the hopper, creating a coarse wood chip (the blades are highly thick and fixed with 4 stainless steel bolts).

Focus on the hammer: 6 hardened steel shredding blades (or hammers) rotating at high speed. Thanks to their centrifugal motion, they shred the branches in small wood chips.

Focus on the counter-blades: Once assembled the hopper, they’ll be placed near the 2 rotating cutting blades fixed on the rotor. Thus, the "Blade + Counter-blade" system makes shredding operations easier and more efficient, reducing motor effort at the same time.

Focus on the sieve: One of the few models with an outlet equipped with an attachable and removable SELF-PULISHING SEAL, ensuring that the shreds are only released when well ground by the 6 shredding blades (hammers). The sieve is equipped with 2 support bolt that allows it to be assembled or disassembled from the discharge chute opening. By removing the sieve, the garden shredder will produce coarser wood chips, maximising the hourly output. By assembling the sieve, on the other hand, will maximise the shredding capacity of the machine, producing smaller wood chips.

The central rotor is composed of 2 steel flywheels firmly assembled together.

These then represent a sturdy unit (the main component of the garden shredder) of truly superior size, strength and performance.

The machine is equipped with anti-vibration dampers and wheels for easy transport.

Adjustable discharge outlet is located approximately 1 metre from the ground, equipped with deflector with adjustable inclination.
