Reversible flail mower with lateral displacement and medium-sized hydraulic jack suitable for different types of work (grass, pruning, straw, etc.).

• Suitable for tractors with reversible drive and front-mounted tractors and it can be attached to the tractor both in front and rear position.

The hydraulic lateral movement is on a chrome-plated C45 rail.

The reversible flail mower is suitable for tractor with front or rear connection. It can be connected to the tractor either in the front or rear position.

To use the flail mower in one or the other direction, simply remove the pin, turn the upper attachment and swap the lower attachments, converting the flail mower.

Recommended for shredding grass, bushes, brambles and branches. Generally speaking, it is ideal for clearing open fields.

Operation with innovative toothed hammers

These are the sturdiest and heaviest hammers on the market (the standard hammer flails on the market weight up to a max. of 1,6 kg).

These toothed hammers that we use are not only considerably sturdier and more powerful than traditional hammer flails, but also allow you to work without any problems ( besides, of course, on grass, straw and other things) even with solid materials, such as wood and a few stones, thanks to its three robust “chisels” that tend to 'break' and cut through more easily. These hammers are mounted on a sturdy, tempered steel bolt with a 20 mm diameter (150mm length) which make it impossible to shear in the event of a collision (the 90% of flail mowers feature hammers with 16mm diameter bolts). The width of the hammer connection is an impressive 90 mm.

Equipped with a double counter-knife crossbar. They counteract the rotation of the hammers, giving a counter-blade effect to all the material to be ground. The result is a good grinding of all this material.

High thickness rotor. This makes it suitable to withstand long years of working operations, keeping its sturdiness.
It has also been hetronically balanced.

Robust club supports made of cast steel: together with the rotor, they contribute to the overall solidity of the flail mower.

Roller bearings are by far the most professional and reliable technology in the field of flail mowers.

Side hydraulic shift is operated by pistons. Equipped with two hoses with quick joints that must be connected to the hydraulic connections on the tractor.

This is a highly sturdy shifting system. It is structured on a FULL chromium-plated C45 steel tube, which makes the overall movement quite immune to small accidental impacts.

Focus on the attachments made very close to the camera body, which means they are not very protruding. This allows the flail mower to be positioned very close to the tractor, eliminating the risk of stones being thrown at the Operator, but above all eliminating any problems with lifting the machine, because in this way its weight is very close to the tractor, thus placing a much lower burden on it than other products of the same type. This feature makes possible to also fit the equipment with smaller-sized tractors despite its high weight, making the machine a versatile and easy-to-use product.

Original production COMER gearbox in oil bath. The housing is made of cast iron, while the internal gears are made of hardened steel. Also equipped with lubricated extension.

Lateral 3-belt drive with large cross-section (the majority of tractor-mounted flail mowers of this weight class are equipped with a normal 2-belt drive)

Space-saving side belt guard: only 9 cm thick. Although the transmission includes 3 large-section belts. This detail makes this flail mower the one with the absolute smallest footprint on the market, compared to the effective working width. Considering the dimensions of this cover and the support carriage on the opposite side, which protrudes a few CM more than the side of the machine, the overall dimensions of this flail mower are only 13 cm greater than the actual cutting width!!

Focus on the side grease fitting on the transmission side, located in a convenient position, accessible through the dedicated window.

Standard 1 3/8” z6 PTO (suitable for all current and recently manufactured tractors): whether you own a particularly old tractor, make sure that it s equipped with the same PTO and with standard clockwise rotation (right-side).

WARNING:
The flail mower is equipped as standard with a 540 rpm double PTO.
A 1000 rpm power take-off can be requested when placing the order. Please note that the request will require a production time of 10 to 15 days and a price supplement to be agreed in advance.
