The flail mower with inter-row disc is a machine used for shredding serments, grass and shrubs of small diameter.
The frame is similar to that of classic tractor mowers, but with the addition of a special inter-row disc connected directly to the main body.
The inter-row disc is a rotating disc equipped with two cutting blades that allow the mowing of weeds close to the trunk or between crop rows.
Thanks to a return spring, when it comes into contact with the trunk of the plant, it retracts without causing damage.

Th inter-row disc is then installed on a system of parallels that makes it mobile, allowing to adapt to any unevenness in the ground, with the possibility of adjusting the working height by means of a special screw. Furthermore, the base of the disc is levelling, guaranteeing a floating movement to the disc itself, allowing it to adapt better to uneven ground.
This category of flail mowers is equipped with hydraulic side-shift, controlled by a hydraulic piston positioned near the three-point hitch.
This allows the position of the cutting unit to be adjusted and moved laterally compared to the machine frame. This makes it possible to position it correctly over vegetation to be cut.
