The GALAXY XR21 Cordless harvester range is designed to meet the needs of operators, offering a cordless tool that allows greater freedom of movement when harvesting olives.

Cordless technology simplifies work, eliminating cable clutter and reducing fatigue by perfectly balancing the tool

The GALAXY XR21 uses batteries compatible with many pruning tools, offering a versatile and practical solution.

Harvesting capacity is enhanced by the carbon tines, which provide strength and lightness, together with the opposing lateral movement, which is effective even for the most difficult to detach olives.

The ergonomic handle with integrated display allows you to control the charge level and adjust the speed to four settings, easily adapting to different olive varieties.

This picker allows you to work with precision and continuity throughout the working day.

The head and the engine

The head of the Vesco XR21is designed to guarantee high productivity thanks to the 4+4 long carbon tines configuration, which allows efficient and gentle harvesting.

The opposing lateral movement system provides a large working area, reducing operation time and covering a larger area per pass.

Featuring a tapered, lightweight design, the harvester head facilitates prolonged use, reducing operator fatigue.

The high quality carbon tines, with a length of 46 cm, guarantee strength and durability, adapting perfectly to different harvesting needs.

Equipped with a 21.6 volt brushless motor, the Vesco XR21 harvester ensures high performance with low maintenance, offering a reliable and technologically advanced solution for olive harvesting.

The tool comes with 8 rods (prongs) in total.

It is recommended using them in a 4+4 prong configuration for young, well pruned plants with sparse vegetation.

The handle of the Vesco XR21 harvester has been designed for maximum ergonomics and ease of use.

Thanks to its two-component soft-touch design, it ensures a comfortable and secure grip, even during long working sessions.

The cordless system, with battery compatible with all pruning tools in the 21.6 range, ensures maximum versatility.

In addition, the integrated multifunctional display allows real-time monitoring of the battery charge level and easy control of the 4 available speeds, giving total control of the tool.

about the autonomy of lithium batteries

When using a harvester, the choice of battery depends on the practical needs of the user. The main differences between a base-mounted battery and a backpack battery concern freedom of movement and autonomy. The base-mounted battery is more manoeuvrable and lighter, but offers reduced autonomy. In contrast, the backpack provides longer working sessions, although it can be bulkier in tight spaces.

Base-mounted lithium-ion batteries offer greater freedom of movement. The lack of cumbersome cables improves agility when working between trees, making the harvester easier to manoeuvre. They are generally lighter than the backpak once, reducing operator fatigue, and make it easier to transport the device. In addition, handling is more intuitive, not requiring additional equipment such as a backpack. On the downside, however, they have a very limited autonomy and often cannot do a full day's work on their own.

On the other hand, lithium backpack batteries, while adding a certain amount of bulk, allow for greater energy capacity, extending the operational life of the harvester without the need for frequent recharging or battery changes. Their higher capacity allows long working sessions without interruption. In addition, shifting the weight of the battery to the back reduces the direct load on the arm and body, better balancing the overall weight of the equipment.

However, backpack batteries can be less ergonomic and uncomfortable in tight spaces or during quick movements between trees, and the presence of the cable can be an obstacle or obstruction during operation. Finally, the constant carrying of the backpack may cause more fatigue in the long run than an integrated solution in the product base.

Lithium Battery Advantages

LONGER RUNTIME: up to 3 times longer than conventional nickel–cadmium batteries, reducing the need for recharging during long periods of use.
Ideal for medium to large gardens.

FULL CHARGE FOR THE ENTIRE BATTERY LIFE: the charge of the lithium-ion batteries does not fade. Unlike nickel-cadmium batteries, which power gradually decreases, lithium-ion batteries, cells maintain constant power throughout the entire cycle. There is roughly the same charge for the entire cycle without reducing the motor speed. The battery operates at full
power until it runs down.

LONGER CHARGE DURATION: Lithium batteries boast 3-4 times more charges than conventional nickel-cadmium batteries, while having longer storage periods with less charge loss. Lithium batteries can be recharged up to 2000 times!

LIGHTWEIGHT: Lithium batteries offer the best power-to-weight ratio. On average, they weigh 1/3 of nickel-cadmium batteries.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY: Lithium-ion battery-powered tools are recyclable and are produced without heavy metals.

NO MEMORY EFFECT: Lithium-ion batteries can be recharged at any time without a negative memory effect; they are able to offer maximum power even after hundreds of charge cycles.
A few minutes of recharging is enough to provide the power needed to complete the job.

LOW DISCHARGE RATE: Low loss of charge rate (up to 5 times lower than nickel-cadmium batteries) so your machine will be ready to use even after months of storage.

BATTERY CHARGER: lithium-ion battery chargers reduce energy consumption by an average of 35%.
