The Zanon Albatros AL 300 olive shaker is the best performing olive harvester that Zanon currently offers with high performances at 600W 50.4V and high power, which combined with the supplied telescopic pole ensures a large collection capacity.

This version is powered by a very powerful lithium battery that guarantees good autonomy and ensures practicality and comfort during use.

The Zanon Albatros AL 300olive shaker is well suited to all harvesting needs, resulting in a versatile and effective olive harvester in any situation.

It has 4+4 easy-to-replace 32cm carbon fiber rods.

This new harvester features a patented system designed to recreate opposing sloping motion by simulating the flight of albatross to reduce olive toss.

The self-cleaning mechanical system makes the use of this machine easier thanks to the ejection holes of the leaves.

Studied on the principle of high frequency oscillations, it simulates the flight of a bat taking all its merits, such as the incomparable lightness, speed and silence.

The motor enclosed in the head of the harvester is effectively insulated from the outside to ensure high longevity. It is powered by the DRIVE 750.S. lithium battery.

"Albatros" boasts a closed box drive with special steel lubricated gears mounted on bearings and a sturdy frame that ensures perfect transmission and durability.

This version is very simple and convenient to use and weighs only 2.3 kg, thanks to the telescopic aluminium pole.

Head and Prong Motion

The ZANON olive harvester has 4+4 quick-replacement carbon harvesting rods on the head.

The arms therefore carry a total of 8 carbon fiber rods with easy replacement, the entire propulsion and transmission unit is hermetically sealed, without any possibility of penetration of external agents inside. This ensures continuity of operation and an almost non-existent maintenance. The prongs are more than 32 cm to allow you to enter deep into the plant.

When using a harvester, the choice of battery depends on the practical needs of the user. The main differences between a base-mounted battery and a backpack battery concern freedom of movement and autonomy. The base-mounted battery is more manoeuvrable and lighter, but offers reduced autonomy. In contrast, the backpack provides longer working sessions, although it can be bulkier in tight spaces.

Base-mounted lithium-ion batteries offer greater freedom of movement. The lack of cumbersome cables improves agility when working between trees, making the harvester easier to manoeuvre. They are generally lighter than the backpak once, reducing operator fatigue, and make it easier to transport the device. In addition, handling is more intuitive, not requiring additional equipment such as a backpack. On the downside, however, they have a very limited autonomy and often cannot do a full day's work on their own.

On the other hand, lithium backpack batteries, while adding a certain amount of bulk, allow for greater energy capacity, extending the operational life of the harvester without the need for frequent recharging or battery changes. Their higher capacity allows long working sessions without interruption. In addition, shifting the weight of the battery to the back reduces the direct load on the arm and body, better balancing the overall weight of the equipment.

However, backpack batteries can be less ergonomic and uncomfortable in tight spaces or during quick movements between trees, and the presence of the cable can be an obstacle or obstruction during operation. Finally, the constant carrying of the backpack may cause more fatigue in the long run than an integrated solution in the product base.
