Bomet Gemini One-row potato planter with metal wheels

The Bomet Gemini One-row potato planter is provided with 3-point hitch for tractor and it is compatible with tractors provided with a 1° category 3-point hitch.

The potato planter makes furrows, automatically seeds the potatoes and creates the ridge all in a single operation.

Height-adjustable double ridger that allows you to choose the sowing depth, height-adjustable rear ridger that allows you to make wider furrows.

Potatoes can be planted at a variable distance (29 cm, 32 cm, 35 cm). By changing the diameter of the wheels, which can be adjusted in three ways, it is possible to vary this planting distance.

The holders on the small conveyor chain pick up the potatoes from the hopper and deposit them on the ground; this chain is driven by chain gears moved by the side wheels, so that the speed of the conveyor is directly proportional to the forward speed of the machine.

Tractor power required: 20 - 40 Hp

The planing depth is approx. 10-15 cm.

The hopper capacity is 90 Kg.

The potato planter is also equipped with a platform that the Operator, if necessary, can use to check the situation into the hopper or simply use it to facilitate feeding the hopper itself.

The potato planter is equipped with a furrow opener, that allows discharging the potatoes into the grooves, and the rear double ridger that will close the furrow.

The potato sprouts are deposited on the ground by means of proper holders placed on the small conveyor chain in the hopper.

The wheels of this machine, unlike pneumatic wheels, allow the distance the potatoes can be planted to be adjusted simply by changing the diameter of the wheels, which can be adjusted in 3 different ways.
