The Bomet URSA potato digger (with rear discharge) can be mounted on tractors equipped with a I category 3-point suspension system.
The machine consists of a vibrating digging ploughshare with adjustable digging depth which conveys the potatoes and soil onto a vibrating sieve grid separating the potatoes from the soil. The digging depth is adjusted by the rear support wheels.
The sifting intensity can be increased by adjusting the inclination of the sieving grid. All vibrating elements are operated by a crank mechanism driven by the tractor PTO shaft.
The axles of the ploughshare and sieve hopper are equipped with rubber bushings - overblocks that ensure the stability of the machine during operations. Its small size makes the machine suitable to be used on small plots, in flat and hilly areas.
The required tractor power is 15 to 35 HP
